Markus smiled; he always appreciated it when people allowed him to be independent. He counted out five coins, at the same time listening. The other two, the blonde with the chains and the self-proclaimed bounty-hunter, continued to chat, and another woman walked in.
Analasia seemed immediately thrown off by the new presence. Mark knew he was naive, but he could tell when he wasn’t wanted anymore, so he nodded. “I’ll just go, then. To the bar. And...sit...” He trailed away, trying to find a better way to put it, then shaking his head. “I’ll be over there. It was nice talking to you, Miss Analasia.” He left the polite stranger to...whatever it was she’d planned, and instead took a seat at the bar, asking for a apple cider. Out of the corner of his eye, he used a mirror on the back wall to surreptitiously watch the two tables.

"I guess could you handle it," answered back the ranger. Travis had plenty of issues to deal with anyways. Getting himself in one more affiar would stretch him a bit too thin. Still, he wish he could help out Ashemir, afterall, getting beaten in your own home isn't anything to be happy about. "How about I buy you a drink?"
However, they were soon interrupted by a short young woman with pale skin. She came off as a person with the personality of poison. Even Analisia didn't like her attitude. Obvisiously, instead of feeling sympathoy for Ashemir, she went ahead towards mocking him.
The woodsman interjected, "Excuse me? But who are?"

Ashemir quirked his brow slightly, curious on Travis' desire to help him out. Maybe the bounty hunter just had a sense of justice, or work was hard to come by, because the blonde certainly hadn't acted nice enough to the ranger to warrant kindness back to him. "No. I don't have the stomach for it right now."
And apparently another one of those loud people that couldn’t keep their stupid mouths shut sat down right in front of him. And she smelled blatantly of vampire. God dammit! Did no one in Valmar’s army have any sense of tact? First he gave her an unwelcome look, but after her taunt, he looked a cross between mortified and enraged. How the hell did she know all of that, aside from the aged blood on his clothes (as the trim made was practically unnoticeable just above his left ear)? Indignation sparked in his eyes as he glared at the girl. He wanted to strike her. He wanted to strangle her. "What, is Valmar telling the story to inspire loyalty from the troops at my expense?" he snapped, the fleeting image of the general dangling the lock of his hair around poisoning his mind. "Do you want to leave on your own accord, or do I have to strangle you as well?" He was aware that he just tipped the human across from him off, but he was too angry to care. Who was she, indeed! And what gave her the idea that she could speak that way to him!

"All you get to know is you can call me Zeph." The statement was thrown at Travis with a dark glare, her smile making her look even more threatening. But then she turned her light eyes to Ashemir and leaned on the table, resting her chin in the palm of one hand while the other rested against the side of her elbow. She shook her head and rolled her eyes. Drama queen... She snorted a laugh at Ashemir and lifted a hand to poke his nose, blinking playfully, looking just as dark at him as she had at Travis. "Valmar's spouting some nonsense or another, but I'd prefer to hear the real story," she stated, her straightforward manner getting the better of her. "Most of those braindead men would follow him to the pits of hell, to the devil himself, rather than know the truth. And, if you so please, go ahead and strangle me. I might like it." She gave him a mischeivous wink and leaned back again, holding her elbows in her hands as she smiled at him with that wicked grin.

Analisia watched Markus leave with a small frown. She hoped that she didn't seem rude or hurt his feelings, but she had to deal with the table next to her and the vampire that was there. Standing up, Analisia straightened herself out a bit, then braided her hair loosely. She didnt want it to turn into a weapon against her if she got into a fight with the others. Nodding to herself, she walked over to Travis.
"Hello there Travis, who are your friends?" Turning to face the others, particularly the one that smelled like a vampire, giving them both a small smile. "Perhaps you would like to introduce them... Or shall they introduce themselves?" She spoke in a bluntly knowing tone. Let them know that she was taunting them, the blonde didnt look like he could put up much of a fight, nor did the small female. But if Analisia knew anything, it was that looks could be decieving. She didn't want a fight... yet. She just wanted them to understand that she knew what they were, and was willing to fight if it came down to that.

The ranger merely quirked up his eyebrow at the Zeph's gaze. While it seemed she was trying to be intimiting, it wasn't that threatening to Travis. In matter, he dealt with far deadly criminals than her. The conversation between the two was heated and was centered towards Ashemir's fight. However, one name that was mentioned caught the woodsman's attention.
He had heard of the name Valmar from legend. According to the tales he heard, Valmar is considered one of the most infamous vampires in history. Not only does it seem that they affirm that he still exist, but it seems they have some sort of relations with him. It started to dawn of him that they aren't human, but vampires.
Goddamnit, I'm sitting next to a bunch of bloodsuckers
Travis knew he was standing on a razor's edge. One wrong move and he'll upset the hive. He needed to be on guard and play his cards, but he wish had an opening. However, it seemed Analisia came to save him, or that's what seemed as she came over to his table.
"Oh, Analisia, nice to meet you," replied the ranger, "yeah, myfriends, um this is Ashemir and that's Zeph. Do you care to have a seat?" He wished there was a way for him to tell her that she was entering into danger. Then again, she was the type of woman who could deal with danger.

He didn't even consider if she was just trying to get under his skin. Ashemir smacked Zeph's hand out of the air. No, no nose poking for her! And now Travis' friend had come over, and Ashemir caught the smoky smell of a werewolf from her. And she looked tense, as though expecting a fight. Fuck, shit, dammit, idiot, moron... He glared at Zeph now, almost about to kill her himself for her lack of thought.
And now he had yet to answer her question, but he'd be damned if he had to repeat himself four times, and admit to this complete stranger that he had been beaten and be even further humiliated. "It figures that his underlings would be as idiotic as he is barbaric. What more do you fucking need to know? I'm sure he had limited explanations on the condition of his armor," he snapped, gaze flicking to the woman standing by their table. Feh... if he didn't answer HER question, then Zeph might just open her big mouth anyway. She clearly knew him from somewhere... But Travis answered that question, so Ashemir gave a half-hearted nod to Analisia. Ana.... A flicker of grief crossed his face, and he promptly looked away from her.
And from the look of it, Travis seemed incredibly uncomfortable all of a sudden. Ashemir regarded the ranger with a wary look, for the moment oblivious that the name 'Valmar' rang that far with the other man.

"Nah, Valmar didn't tell me anything," Zeph said, laughing. She loved how touchy Ashemir was and how easy it was to get at him. And she wasn't interested in the werewolf or the human man. Ashemir was too much fun. "No, little eavesdropping friend of mine decided to listen in on the whole thing and saw what Valmar did to you and what you did to his armor," she continued, looking at her nails as if bored. "So really, I think Valmar's a big moron and that you've got more guts than anyone would have pegged you for ever. I wonder what our fearless leader going to say about this." She didn't bring up Seriah's name. Valmar was known but the vampire warlord, she couldn't be so sure about. So she just gave Ashemir her dark little smile and tilted her head, waiting for his response. The other two posed no threat or interested to her for the time being.

Analisia listened quietly to the conversation between the two vampire's. It would seem that one was content bothering the other, but she wanted to know what Ashemir wanted here. Smiling at Travis, she took the seat between him and the woman vampire. She kept herself tense, ready to change and attack if necessary. But she didn't quite know it would be. Looking Travis over quickly, it seemed as if he had finally caught on to the others.
When she caught the name Valmar, her ears pricked up. She looked toward the blonde, Ashemir. "Dissension in the ranks?" She asked teasingly. She knew little about the hierarchy of vampires, nor did she really care. But she did know who the Vampire Valmar was. "Well well, Ashemir, it would seem as if you had made enemies in the worst of places. And this is coming from one of my blood." She chuckles slightly. "What exactly could one vampire do to make such a higher up angry at him I wonder?" It wasn't smart to pick a fight, especially with the odds stacked against her. But she was starting to understand why the one called Zeph was picking on Ashemir. The little voice in the back of her mind was yelling at her to get Travis and Markus out of there, that she was supposed to protect them. But Analisia had learned to tone out that warning voice quite a few years ago. She turned her attention away from the vampire's for just a moment, to look over at the bar and Markus, if anyone attacked him while she was here they would pay. She gotten a bit attached to the polite youngling.

Clearly, this Zeph woman was the worst vampire that could keep her idenity sealed. The ranger could see why Ashemir would want to strangle the woman, especially since he wanted to keep alive. It's also interesting how this vampire girl could bad talk such an imfamous warrior, who is usually feared by most men. Was he really that incompitate, which went against most legends, or was she just being big mouth? Then again, he didn't really understood Vampire culture, so he couldn't tell much.
Travis wasn't sure if Analisia coming to over his table was a good idea. In one sense, he felt more comfortable sitting next to her, especially if it's to keep him seperated from that obnoxious woman. But, it seems she was making the situation worse, especially when she mentioned that they were vampires. The ranger wasn't sure how she reached the same conclusion as he did, whether she picked up the clues in their dialogue or she was think on the same vibe as he was, but now she publically announced it, there was a very good chance of violence in the bar now. The ranger might be a human, but he knew how to kill a vampire: stab its heart or cut off its head. He didn't have enough room to draw his sword, but could use his dagger.

Someone had listened to all of that?? Ashemir wasn't sure whether to be a little more proud, or enraged. Sure, he fended Valmar off by himself and word of that he was a badass was spreading, but someone was apparently there and didn't even bother to help him. This time, for mentioning a 'leader', he DID reach other the table and backhanded her. "You idiot, Valmar already said something, if your eavesdropping friend bothered to stick around for that long. He said he'd kill me if he ever saw me again." He gave her a stern look again, that clearly read 'SHUT. UP.'
And now Analisia thought that she was invited to their table, because she was sitting down. Ashemir rested his elbows on the table and held his face in his hands, trying to hold back a groan. But when the werewolf looked at him, he let his arms fall onto the table while he turned his head sharply to her with an annoyed, impatient expression. YEAH, HE FUCKING KNEW THAT FIGHTING BACK MIGHT MAKE IT WORSE, WHY DON'T THEY TELL HIM SOMETHING NEW? he thought angrily.
Oh, he knew they were all thinking it at this point, but she said it: vampire. As far as the blonde was concerned, that was his cue to leave. If Travis had any doubt about what they were, he certainly didn't now, and the ranger had already made himself out to be a person that condemned murder, which vampires committed on a regular basis. Ashemir pulled his bag from the table and slung it back over his shoulder. "By listening to a meaningless conversation. By protecting oneself against him," he answered Analisia, standing up, taking his axe, and heading for the door. He didn't need to fucking take this...

Well now she hadn't expected that. Zephyr's head whipped away as Ashemir backhanded her and she looked startled, bright yellow eyes wide. Slowly, she turned back to the blond with a look of confusion. And then her eyes narrowed and she looked completely and totally pissed. With a growl, she followed him, though she made sure she made it to the door first by shoving Ashemir aside and shooting him a venomous glare. "Touch me again and you'll regret it as much as you regret Valmar touching you," she hissed at him. "Watch your back and get the fuck out of here before I tell Valmar you're still around." She spit at his feet and opened the door, storming out and slamming it behind her, heading off toward the mountain again.

Analisia watched the scene with a smirk. At least she had been able to chase the two vampires off. Or they had chased themselves off. Though she no longer saw Ashemir as a threat. Sighing she turned in her seat to watch the two leave, or at least Zephyr. One less to deal with in the long run. "Ashemir!" She called out to the other vampire, as much as she despised vamp's, she couldnt help but feel for him. "If you stood up to your leader, or general or whatever, stood against him, then it would seem as if you aren't so bad. You can come back to the table as long as you don't feed in front of me. If you care to come back of course."
Analisia thought about the female, she had spunk, and a bad attitude. If she were calmed down a bit, Analisia could actually grow to tolerate her. Shaking her head, she shook the thoughts away quite literally. Turning back to Travis, she shrugged her shoulders. "Sorry about all of that..." If Ashemir joined them again, she figured that she would have to explain what she was, at the moment she honestly didn't care. It was time for Travis to know before they got attached.

As prepared as the ranger was for such built up tenson, the whole scene seem to have be solved with Ashemir slapping Zeph in the face and walking out the door. Zeph followed suit, threating the blonde that hit her before leaving. As anti-climatic the solution was, at least there wasn't any violence. It was a shame to let two vampires go, but there was always another day for that. He just hoped they didn't know that his home was near here.
As for Analisia, she still puzzles Travis. It was strange that despite the fact it seemed she made the situation worse, everything was resolved. Despite that, she also wanted to invite Ashemir back to the conversation. Why would she want to talk to a vampire is beyond him? But, then again, he didn't seem to comtempted on feast on him. And he felt so long Ana was near him, he would attack him.
He turned to the woman and replied, "It's alright. I could tell you were looking after me..." Somehow, he could tell the woman was about tell him something unsettling.

Hearing Zephyr's quick steps behind him, he hardly gave even a glance over his shoulder, but when he reached the door, he was pushed off of his feet with a tussle of hair and a rattle of chains. He smacked into the wooden floorboards, instantly revolted by the dirt and smell on it, and turned back to glare at Zephyr. Much to his disgust with himself, he flinched when she spat, and ended up glaring at the floor as she left.
Then Analisia called to him, and he threw his indignant look to her instead. Stay? Did she think he was stupid? She was going to attack him the moment he returned, wasn't she? Ashemir started to stand up again, but then thought about Zephyr. He wasn't going to give that bitch the satisfaction of watching him flee with his tail between his legs after harassing him like that. She could tell Valmar whatever the fuck she wanted, fucking tool.... Tiaelde wasn't Valmar's city.
After brushing himself off, whatever good that did, he looked back to Travis' and Analisia's table, and then noticed that a fair fraction of the tavern patrons were looking to see what the big commotion was. Mmph... Seething and miserable inside, he returned to the damn table, but didn't sit down just yet. "You won't say anything about me," he laid down to Analisia. "And BOTH of you won't bother me about my fight with the general. I'm tired, and dirty, and angry, and I don't feel like dealing with it anymore right now." And hungry, but that would be a bad thing to bring up. "Alright?" he asked viciously.
