"We might take that. I'm not sure how well crucifixes actually work, but it might as a last-ditch attempt, it would be better than nothing," Banez said to Travis. He finally stood up from the bed, and his injury wasn't hurting him too bad, although he wouldn't want to twist his back around or bend himself too much. There was the crucifix, on the wall at the head of the bed. He reached up and unhooked it from the wall before he stepped carefully out from the bedroom, where he paused and shut his eyes briefly when Analisia let the smoke drift onto him.
Simon coughed lightly, having breathed in at a bad time, but the smoke smelled very smoky, so hopefully it would work well. "Captain...?" he asked, awaiting orders.
Banez furrowed his brows, considering where to place the redhead. "Stay with Analisia. She may not need the help, but watch her back."

Analisia looked Simon over, then nodded. She could use the manpower, even if he was injured. "Just be careful and keep up with me. And I hope you dont spook easily, I change kinda at random in a battle." She looks at Travis and nods at him. Then turns to Banez. "Do be careful sir Gladpath, and make sure that Travis isn't too distracted." She chuckles softly than bows to Banez. "It is time." She says, bringing out her knives to her hands. Then waits for Travis and Banez to start heading out before walking to the door. Preparing herself for the fight she knew would come.

Travis wasn't entirely sure if the crucifix idea would work. The ranger was quite familiar of the all the tales and legends of vampires: some true and many false. He never bothered testing the theory out, and while it didn't seem like the good time to test it out, they might as well put a little faith into it.
Smelling like the inside of a chimney, Travis was ready to move out. "And Simon, you better not get too distracted with Ana over there," he replied humorously. "And Analisia, give them hell." He then walked out of the back window, checking if the coast was clear.

If Banez was anything, he was a man of faith. He clutched the cross in his shield hand, the arm of which was too bruised and sore to be of too much use, and he turned to Analisia with a smile, "And you be careful, also. Send them back to hell. We'll meet in Tiaelde, I'd imagine, if not still in the forest." He nodded to Simon, "And I'll see you soon, too."
"I'll see you, Captain," Simon said confidently before he looked to Travis. "Heh... you pose quite a challenge," he said to ranger just as teasingly. He then turned back to Analisia. "I'll stay in the doorway if I can. I can't have anyone getting behind me..."

Analisia smiled at the Travis and then Simon. Shaking her head, she reminded herself to focus. Then opened the door, looking outside and waiting for whatever had to happen to happen. She growled inwardly and started to walk as if nothing was suspected. Hopefully it would work. If not.... She didn't even want to think about that. "I will scout it out guys, you all sit tight." She calls over her shoulder, playing as though the others were still inside. Just another detail to add to the plan. She then turned and started to walk forward, trying not to look too nervous or tense. Her chin lifted slightly, her back straightened. It was time.

Tartus saw the werewolf walking out the door. It was her and her alone that walked outside. Something didn't seem right. He held his hand out, signaling to his crew not to attack yet. They weren't moving until they saw everyone come out.
On the other side of the cabin, Travis was helping Banez evaculate the cabin. One small vampire, by the name of George, saw the ranger climb out of the window. It seemed strange but the man climbing out the window smelt like a werewolf. Were there more than one werewolf in that cabin? Did they actually found a pack of wolfs? Either, they needed to be exterminated.
"Comeon," whispered Travis, "Lets go."

Simon waited as Analisia strode out, but he remained tense. Using his halberd, he drifted a bit closer to the door, glancing to all the windows again to see if something was moving out there. Well, if there was, then she'd be able to smell it.
Banez took ahold of Travis' arm and used it to carefully get himself over the windowsill. Ow ow, his back... Shifting his position slightly to a straighter one, the tension on the stitches subsided. If the captain could just get through without breaking them, he'd be happier for it, but he couldn't have been more glad to have both feet on the ground again on the other side.

A few moments after walking away from the cabin, the smells hit Analisia. Vampires. Her nose curled instantly, she couldn't help it. She fought to keep herself from just charging into the woods and fighting. She turned slightly to look at Simon and gave him the slightest of nods.
They were here. Turning back around, she tried to look at each individual tree. Trying to find which was hiding the vampires. Where they could be. Her hands tensed around her daggers, eyes darting around. She reached the space just before the treeline and stopped. She leaned down to act like she was checking for tracks, instead she was watching the trees, taking deep breaths to catch the different scents. One of them was familiar. "That little bitch." She says under her breath. Zephyr. Her scent stood out among the others, and it drove Analisia to a rage.

George saw another figure climbing out of the window. It looked like the Captain. It seems they were trying to escape through the back. Even if that ginger had the scent of those filthy wolfs, it was definatly him. Hoping to use the element of surprise, the vampire rushed at them, despite not receiving any order to do so.
Travis was relieved that Banez without breaking his snitches. However, his went from relief to alert mode when he hear the fast steps of a person running. The ranger turned to see who was ambushing them. It was a vampire, armed with a battleaxe who was waiting for them to come out. Reacting shiftly, the ranger drew his sword and blocked George's attack. However, this forced the woodsman to fall down on his rear, making him an easy target.

Zephyr heard it before Tartus had the chance to stop him. She heard one of the vampires at the back rush forward and the clang of metal in attack. She looked at Tartus as if begging him to give the signal to attack, but she really didn't think they could wait. That would mean the human Captain would get away, and Valmar wanted him alive. She shot foward from her hiding place, darting around Analisia without a second glance at the werewolf. Obviously she was only a decoy. As she rounded the cabin she saw George going at the ranger and the Captain standing there. Perfect. He was distracted. She inched her way closer, holding the longsword down as she did. She'd cripple him, that way he'd be easy to get back to Valmar. Ears alert for the sounds of the werewolf, she let George go at Travis and she lunged for Banez, slashing the sword toward his unguarded side.

Banez drew his arming sword and prepared to lunge at George while he was still recovering from Travis' block, but he heard someone else approaching. Without too much time to think, the captain stepped close to Travis, holding the crucifix up to George while turning to Zephyr to knock her approaching blade to the side with his own. "Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name..."
Simon panicked when he saw a vampire dart out to where the captain and Travis were. He went right to the doorway, sticking two fingers in his mouth and issuing a piercing whistle, sure to rattle the vampires' sensitive hearing.

Analisia cursed when she heard the whistle. It was loud and piercing and probably hurt her ears as much as the vampires. She turned instantly on her heels and ran off toward the back of the cabin as fast as she could. Seeing Banez turn his crucifix toward george and back Zephyr's blade away. She snarled and growled and charged at Zephyr, her daggers held out and ready to stab and she tackled the female vampire. "Travis get off your ass and focus on the boy vamp. Zeph is mine."she said somberly. Her face twisted into a grimace up until she hit Zephyr straight in the chest. Sending both of them tumbling to the ground.

George wasn't sure what to make of the crucifix that the ginger held in front of him. Was he suppose to be afraid of it? Was he suppose to repent to their God? It was quite silly. Suddenly out of nowhere, Zeph came charging in after Banez. He saw the captain first; he was the one that was suppose to capture him. Then, the werewolf chick came out to counter Zeph. "Good," he thought, "She's a bitch for trying to take my credit." However, the small vampire lost his balance as the ranger on the ground sliced his foot off.
"Yeah, I got him!," Travis shouted back as he jumped back on his feet. He then drew his dagger and stabbed the vampire in the heart, disposing him for good. Another vampire came charging, this time with a longsword. The vampire attempted to cut the ranger, but Travis was able to block the blow.
Tartus couldn't believe it. His men went out to attack without his order. Why did he bring Zeph along? Hell, how did he get this soldier? It didn't matter. Eyeing that there was one more cabin, Tartus and his two other men rushed in to attack him.

Zephyr fell backwards and rolled, pushing the werewolf off her as she got back to her feet. With a hiss, she eyed Analisia and brandished her sword in front of her with one hand, glaring. Alright so George was out. Forever. The moron would have been alive if he hadn't attacked without signal. Of course, she had too and she supposed Tartus was probably pissed about the whole thing. Wasn't her fault the other had gone without order! She was just trying to ensure Banez didn't get away! She kept an eye on Travis and Banez, certain this was going end badly for her. She was much smaller than the werewolf, who was wielding two daggers and not small ones. "Hello again, dog," she growled, smirking darkly.

(**his one other man. 1 is dead, and 1 is attacking Travis.)
Simon panicked when two vampires began rushing him. Slamming the door closed, he practically bounded one-leggedly to the table. "Sorry Travis..." he muttered as he swept the weapons off the table with his arm before turning the table over and pushing it up against the door as a barricade.
Well, George was quite silly! Because he was DEAD. At the very least, praying had distracted one vampire. Another of the fiends came just as quickly to replace the last, and Banez maneuvered himself to come at its side. When Travis blocked its blow, the captain lunged forward and jabbed his sword into the vampire's neck.
