Alright, so, Keith sort of beat me to the punch, but let me bring up my own concerns:
Ahem.
I'm in huge favor of deciding an end to the battle, and performing a time lapse, leaving the battle to be continued to reflect the "later" posts. Harhunt, I completely agree with your argument against simply planning things out, which is why I have been resisting intervention for so long, but the plot is so centralized around this battle that TF is in serious danger of dying (why this seems to happen at the most exciting times I don't understand). Too many characters are hung up in two threads that are moving at the speed of molasas.
Shit. Forgot what else I was going to say.
Uh.
I guess I'll add it if I remember it. Anyway, as I see it there are two most likely outcomes:
a. The Vampires win, creating a huge problem for the human population of Thrunalhin, a ton of newly turned Vampires, and a new plot.
b. The Humans somehow pull a miraculous victory out of their ass.
Either way, we could then draw up a quick "map" where it would be most likely which race would be where. That should breathe some life into the site, hoopefully.
As always, this is up for debate. Let's hear it.

Again, I'm not in favor of time skipping. What happens to Banez and Lorin and Aria and Father Arzen? We don't know, and it would be cheap just to throw them into where they end up without knowing the situations.
In the meantime, Arrow, you need to man up and get people to post where they are needed. THAT'S why things are moving as slow as molasses, and I try to be a nanny where I can, but I've been too wiped out to heckle people (aka Pat) lately. Time skipping will do nothing if our vital players simply are not posting.

I'd like to give the battles a little more time before we conclude them, personally. It would feel really flat to skip ahead of what is basically the main conflict of the forum. We're going to have plenty of new things to do when the battles end, so I feel like playing it out will be worth while if people will just hang in there.
And as Harhunt said, its not so much the boards as the players that are the problem. I suggest anyone 'locked' in the main battle that needs something to do just make a board(s) that take place prebattle. Not to mention we have people that aren't taking place in the battles that just.. aren't doing anything. That's kind of their own fault. XD They should come back and start a board together, or do something 'back in time' slightly with the people locked in battle.
And I apologize Swan Song has been progressing so slowly. School's been leaving me wiped out, and I just ended up dead over Spring break. But I'll be more prompt, and hopefully Pat will do the same so we can get these super sexy happy fun time battles hopping, and life returns to the forum! <3

Hoo-ahh! Punch mastah!
But anyways,
I kinda get both sides, but I think the main problem is that people just...kinda...aren't here. Like, I'm glad to see Ninja again ( =D ) but we haven't heard from some people in a while, and it's hard to tell if they're caught up in school or just lurking on occasion. (And if we could stop spitting out names every time the 'slow' trait pops up, that'd be nice. Politeness is good. *pinkie up* ) Or maybe we could set up another announcement thing. Practically everyone showed up for the sound-off.
I dunno if this would help, but we might set a time limit on the battle posts. That way instead of waiting weeks and months for that one person to find time, we could roll things along even if we have to put some side-conflicts on hold. Usually it seems like there're a few mini-battles going on, so those who are here can keep up with those and make things seem a little more lively at least. Then whenever those others find time they can get their own character up to speed. (This is just a suggestion, of course. I'm not involved, so I'm not the best genius-person on the subject or anything, but yeah. Peace~)

I like Keith's idea here. I'm not part of the battle (even though Zephyr should /prooobbbaaabbbly be there) so I'm sorta just sitting. But I'm having fun making Draven bitch and moan. XD
I'm up for whatever but I would like to suggest that whoever has werewolves come find Yeszlin so I'm not stuck with injured, whiny Draven at the moment. I'm up for starting a thread for THAT! ^_^

I second ninja's opinion about the people who decided not to take place in the battle. (And when we're waiting about a week on average for a post, I think politeness can be chucked a bit.)
The problem with the time limit idea is that there isn't even one in place currently. We can't just plug ahead and crop out a crucial part of what's going on. Lumi and Zoshi would just hit a dead end in the fight they're supposed to be having and end up talking about the weather while the vampires are supposed to be invading. Unless we start taking control of the vampires ourselves, we're going to be stuck. Wait, actually, that's an idea. Keith and Blue, you might be able to puppet the vampires in BF3-1, if it's alright with Patrick, of course. That would make things go faster, AND give you something to do~
We already had a plan for Ana finding Yeszlin. However, I don't know what the deal is with Marquis showing up on Plain Sight and your forum, but not here. You're going to either have to work it out with her, or come up with your own plan to share with us.

^^^^ Like Harhunt said, the plot with Ana finding Yeszlin was supposed to be going on.. basically during the battle. I don't know where Marquise is, or what's up with her, but since you seem to be in contact with her Blue, you outta kick her butt back into gear. =3
XD I felt like we came up with such a perfect way to save Yeszlin, too! It wouldn't really make sense for anyone but Ana to find her, considering any other werewolf would have the entire country to pick through- and if anything they'd end up looking for her in the mountains next. So it really SHOULD be Ana finding Yeszlin. But if Mar is unable to for some reason, let me know so we can try and come up with a new plan.
As for puppeting the vampires, I think thats a good idea. It might take some of the pressure off of Pat. So if he doesn't mind, that should be a good way to go.

I'm really sorry for slowing everything down. Ive been infected by Value Time. As far as ideas, I'm open for guys to take control some of the vampires, just so things could go by quickly. Though, I still concerned about Liv, since she is also in the battle plot, she's been MIA, and I hate the idea just ignoring Chey. I'm also concerned about werewolf plot, particularly with Yeszlin. We could have Travis find her, since he was going to help Ana. However, I do hate that idea since it's suppose to be Ana's quest and Travis still has a bunch of tasks that he hasn't accomplished (He still hasn't found Lysand's assassin and I think he needs to do some sort of payback for Draven (maybe faceoff with his brother)). And then there are the missing werecats. As mentioned before, Liv has been busy and many other werecats are pretty much MIA. I definatly want to get 3-1 done with.

Hey guys, i am back. As for the whole not showing up thing, I am not a crucial player here with the exception of finding yez. So i figured you guys wouldnt need me and i needed to cut back on my rp since my school was lagging in the meantime. Anyways, I am back here, I wont be doing as much roleplay, but I will do what i can and still contribute to plot and site. Push come to shove, here I am, let's get Ana over to Yez... oh, and dont heckle Blue to get me over here... it is my choice to show up or not, so back off of her, she is my friend and i would rather not have her coming to me on your behalf, because you could just pm and i get an email notifying me about it

o.O;;;
Well, I'd be willing to take a couple vampires but I don't want to slow anything down if I happen to like forget or something... I'm on a lot more now, though, so I don't think it'll happen. Just my typical over-worrying self. ^^;;;; *shutting up now*

Who's heckling? Blue was the one that brought up the Yeszlin plot. My intention, and I imagine Harhunts, was just to remind her of the plan we'd already discussed. I suggest she contact you, because YOU TWO are the ones involved in that RP. It would be odd for me, and even more off for harhunt, to arrange for an RP that takes place between your two characters. Nobody heckled anyone, or said anything aggressive.
It's like... if there were friends A, B, and C. A is close to B. B doesn't show up to school, and A asks C why B is absent. If A knows B better (and is the one with something to discuss with B), it makes sense for C to suggest A give B a call. It would be strange for C to call B in order to establish information for A, when A can get it directly.
... I'm kind of boggled how something that innocent got turned in to some sort of attack.

Marquis, I don't even know how you construed that as an attack. Being wary of that, I'll be very clear right now that you yourself CAN NOT heckle and provoke me, when I'm supposed to be behaving myself. It's hypocritical, and you need to just back off, breathe, and find your head before you say anything like that, okay? I think Blue is a big girl and can handle herself until she needs to call the reinforcements, yeah?
EDIT: Late post, but I'll still put that out there.

I wasn't heckled.... Just so you all know... I just sorta knew Marquis was like focusing on other things and that I didn't want to bother her. So I thought maybe we could come up with something without her so she didn't feel she needed to come if she didn't absolutely have to. *nodnod*
