Travis felt Ana's hand touching his hand. While he wanted to hold it, he knew it would send the wrong message for her in front of the captain. So, he pretended to ignore it. Just then, he witnessed the heartwarming moment that he hoped for: Kahjit hugged Analisia. Whether it was due to stress, the acceptance of having her back, or both, it was something that the ranger was glad to witness. It made the man smile.

Analisia was suprised when Kahjit hugged her, but then everything felt so right she couldn't help but hug back. Just as tightly as the other. "I am glad to be home Kahjit... It has been too long since I have been here... Since I have even seen another." She whispered it softly, as if she said it too loud it would all be taken away from her. She looked over at Travis from over Kahjit's shoulder and smiled brightly, worry gone from her face for a moment. Then she pulled away from him. "How have you faired my friend? It has been many years since we last wrestled, long before you were the captian." She smiled warmly at the male wolf, letting memories flood into her mind for a moment. "What has changed? What has staid the same? Goodness these are silly questions for such a time as this." Analisia chuckled nervously, she didn't know what to do right now, so she just took her packmate's hand and smiled.

Kahjit let Analisia withdraw from the hug, if begrudgingly. He looked between Travis, and Ana after the rush of questions, before venturing, "The biggest pack news are things you seem to already know. I think more has changed for you." Not sure where to start, he asked, "Where have you been? How do you two know each other?"

Travis wasn't sure if he should speak since this was Analisia's moment. So, he stood next to her and smiled.

Analisia smiled slightly at Kahjit, then turned her smile over to Travis. She stared at Travis a few moments before turning back to Kahjit. "I have been traveling mostly. I never settled down during the entirety of my exile. I couldn't stand to get attached to a place other than here, my homeland. It has been a difficult life, but things are looking up. Travis and I met in Cados... In a tavern there when I stopped by for a mug or two of ale. We met and talked, then parted way again." A small blush was creeping onto her cheeks as she thought about it. "Then we ran into each other again in Tialde awhile later. After that we have been traveling together." It wasn't the complete truth, but it would be difficult to explain to the Captain that she was slowly falling for Travis. Especially since Travis was human. She wondered if any of the pack would accept Travis at all. Just another thing to add to her long list of worries. Shaking her head Analisia smiled again at Kahjit. The blush still burning against her skin softly.

Analisia certainly had made tracks across the country. Kahjit could hardly imagine, "It must have been lonely not settling down for such a long time." Which brought his gaze to Travis. He'd never enjoyed being in the human cities, or around human's much, but he didn't particularly have a problem with Travis being around. The man had delivered vital information, after all. And of course, if it was between associating with human's or being alone, a human was obviously better.

That was pretty much how the story went though he wondered how the Captain and the other in Analisia pack would react to him. Especially in the fact that they have strong feelings for each other. However, it seems Kahjit was taking a liking for the ranger, so he felt some comfort. He also glad that the Captain wasn't making a big deal with Ana returning early, which was alos a good sign. "So, are we going to meet the rest of the pack?" Travis asked with interest.

Analisia nodded sadly. Then smiled at Travis when he asked after the rest of the pack."It has been very lonely. But I knew I would not be whole without the pack. I hope that I am able to stay when the Alpha comes back. How is everyone, I mean other than Yina and our lost packmate. Has anyone died?" Analisia wanted to know everything that had happened within the pack while she was gone. "Any new pairings? How is old Baba?" She smiled and took Kahjit in another hug suddenly. Just glad to finally have a member of her family around.

Kahjit blinked at Ana and travis, trying to think of how to summarize so much time and pack history. "There have been some deaths, mostly of old age, though. Yeszlin became ambassador... but she's the one missing." He wrinkled his nose, "Baba is letting his wisdom get the getter of his common sense." Maybe he was still bitter at the old man for undermining Harrier in front of everyone. But Kahjit was far from a gossip, so he didn't delve deeper. He bowed his head slightly, before looking back, "I'm sure others in the pack would have more to tell you. We could head for the others that stayed behind, but we'll probably meet up with Harrier and the other's sooner if we wait here."

Travis nodded in agreement. Maybe the rest of the pack will come and visit. However, there were a few things that the Captain said that interested the ranger. Appearately, it was their ambassador that was taken. It would make sense why the werewolves would be at up and arms, not only one of their packmates is missing but its also their ambassador. "If you must, I could help you search for Yeszlin," offered the ranger.

"We can stay here and wait then. I dont know how ready I am to see everyone else yet."Analisia bowed her head slightly, taking a deep breath, it was going to be harder than she had thought. "Yeszlin is the missing member? And now ambassador? Harrier Alpha. Much has seemed to change since I was last here." She nodded to herself, then Travis offered to search for the missing ambassador. "Travis we havent the faintest idea to begin the search." She spoke as if it were obvious that she would be traveling with him, and in her mind it was. Unless the pack asked her to stay, she would return to her exile soon enough. "Trying to find one werewolf in the entirety of the continent is nearly impossible..." She looked to Kahjit as if to ask him if he had any idea of where they might begin.

He nodded to Travis, unwilling to commit to anything without Harrier around to bring a final verdict; however his heart sank as Ana called attention to the needle in a hay stack predicament. "She's not in Feryn, but if the werecat's had her, they might not keep her there. Even their ambassador admitted as much." He shook his head slightly. They'd find a way to get more information. No one would just take her, put her in a box, and leave her their without another word to the world. There had to be more to the situation then that.

Analisia nodded slightly, she could never imagine someone doing something like that to anyone... let alone one of her kin. "Tell me Kahjit... What evidence was there that it was the werecats who did such a deed?" She was sure that there had to be something, or else Kahjit would not be so certain that it was their cousins. Perhaps if they had more information they would be able to figure out who exactly had done this. "And when to you expect Harrier's return? I am eager to see my kin still, though there will be much business to discuss still." She loops her arm into Kahjit's and smiles, then turns her smile on Travis.

Harrier knew every scent in his territory. The scent of every rock and tree. He also knew the scent of every werewolf in his pack as well as he knew his own. That's why when he caught wind of the scent on the way back from burying his kin, he recognized it. Even if he hadn't scented it in years. Following that scent was the scent of a human, but he didn't care about that at the moment.
The forest flashed under his paws as he headed toward the scent, another familiar scent hitting him as well. Kahjit. Just what was going on here?
He skidded to a halt as the group came into view, and he shifted into his human form. "Analisia?"

If werecats did in fact kidnap someone from werewolves' kin, particullarly an ambassador, they wouldn't bring her back to their homeland, especially since both races had a stong sense of smell. It also didn't seem to make much sense for the werecats to instigate conflict when they were about to help the humans investigate the mountains. "I would like to see the evidence too," Travis added, "I have certain expertise when it comes to tracking down criminals. It seems rather odd."
Just then, the ranger heard the noise of running rustling in the air. He turned to see that another werewolf just entered the scene. He wondered how long until the entire pack showed up.
