Name: Draven Hunter
Age: 759
Age Turned: 22
Gender: male
Occupation: Mercenary/Bodyguard for hire
Residence: Wherever he is hired (comes from Tiaelde)
Physical Description: Standing 5'10", he is a muscular man that worked every day of his life before he was Changed. He has bright, bronze colored eyes and short, spiky dark brown hair. Though he was rather handsome before he became infected, he now holds an irresistable look and way about him, from his angular facial features to his burly and powerful body structure.
Garment: He wears dark clothing to keep himself hidden in shadows. He often is surrounded in a thick, black hooded cloak and wears heavy leather boots on his feet. He wears black shirts and black pants, both often being loose on his body despite his muscles. He wears a belt around his waist, thick and looped to carry daggers and knives.
Weapon: Draven carries a small armory on him, hidden beneath his cloak. He has daggers, knives, two swords on his back, and various small weapons he can use to attack or defend. He even carries a thick, leather whip at his side. His weapons of choice are his long swords, which he wields at the same time in battle, and a steel dagger, marked with black etchings into the metal.
Demeanor: Though he has taken up a rather unsavory occupation, one that can deal heavily on an untrained mind, Draven is not the heartless beast many have come to call him. He can be friendly, though he is reserved with his opinions. Conversation is easy for him and he never turns anyone away that wishes to talk, no matter what they have to say. He has a regal way of talking that makes him seem almost royal. He really only speaks when spoken to. He is much the wrongly named hero in some cases, called a murderer and a criminal; he never takes jobs he considers 'evil', such as selfish jobs of assassination for the wrong reasons or anything that would do wrong to an innocent person. After losing everything he had not only in his human life but his inhuman one, he tends to save his affections for himself. He shows no love or romantic emotion to humans or vampires. He tries to avoid contact with people that may betray him to Were beings, as he can smell it on their clothing and skin. He is very much unlike his kind with their hatred of Were creatures as he holds no instictual grudge against anyone but the man that took his humanity. He has trained himself to only need to feed on human blood when he has been injured, or after long periods of time sometimes spanning all the way to two years. He, otherwise, is mysterious and rather unknown.
Story of their Change: Draven grew up on a large farm and, in turn, became a rather strong young man. It was one night while he was out on a moonless night trying to find what noise he'd heard from his room. It had sounded like something disturbing the large family animals in the barn and he had taken the lantern out to see and check on the well-being of his family's livelihood. He had come across a pale man, taller than him and stronger. It took a long time of conversation but Draven convinced the intruder to leave without any fighting and returned to his room to sleep the rest of the night. The man returned more than once and finally Draven brought his father's longsword to warn him off for the last time. The faster, pale man had managed to get behind him and attacked from the unfair angle. Though Draven was able to chase the man off, it wasn't without its consequences.
Draven Changed, became more aloof and possessed the typical vampire symptoms, strength, beauty, speed. When his parents realized what he'd become, they threatened to kill him and he left without another glance back. Feeling betrayed, he traveled to the nearest population, Tiaelde, with its great mountain and fearful people. He hid himself well and trained in the darkness of night away from the people until he felt he was ready to move on.
Just after the turn of his second century as a vampire, he fell in love with a human woman and was with her for the longest time, four years, until his twin brother, Changed by the same man as he had been, killed her. As she died, bleeding to death in his arms (and the temptation to drink had been horrible) she made him promise he would not hurt innocent humans unless it meant life or death. Afterwards, he buried her body and stayed by the grave for three months. When he was seen in Tiaelde again, he was different, slightly colder and less talkative and he had more weapons on him than could be imagined. He began his travels around the cities, advertising his sword skills and ability to fight as a mercenary or bodyguard to those that needed protection or services of a hired sword.
