Seeing as Were Wars and the like are big deals, here's a list to easily keep track of how the races feel about each other
[/center]| | | Humans:
to Werewolves: although they do not understand their weird, tribal ways and may occasionally make jokes about how they are nothing but mongrels, Humans actually get on along quite well with Werewolves. They have been embraced and accepted into the Human society, but are not treated with much more respect than they treat each other.
to Werecats: seeing as they rarely show up and, even more rarely, say what they are, Werecats are treated with wonder and respect. It has been rumored that the presence of the Werecat means a coming war or some other phenomenon, and it is a popular rumor that Werecats can tell the future. Utter nonsense, of course, but the Werecats find it smugly amusing and don't seem to mind. Werecats blend seamlessly into Human society as, unlike Werewolves, they are more likely to hide what they are.
to Vampires: Vampires are feared more than anything else by the Humans. If any town is said to have seen a Vampire, that entire community is immediately quarantined for sometimes months at a time.
| | | Werewolves:
to Humans: although they may shake their heads at the overbearing greed and disrespect for nature they see from man, Werewolves treat and think of Humans as their distant cousins, at least for the moment. They do not approve of but understand the need for a harmonious union between Werecats and Humans, and as long as the two Were ambassadors don't cross, they hardly mind.
to Werecats: while there is no love lost between the two races, for the moment Werewolves are grudgingly peaceful with the Werecats. Seeing as they only seem to appear once in a while and usually not for long, Werewolves seem more than content to blatantly pretend they do not exist.
to Vampires: they will be hunted and, if at all possible, killed. It is the way now, it is the way it has always been.
| | | Werecats:
to Humans: Werecats, being the proud creatures they are, continue to look haughtily down at the petty politics of Human life. Other than that, the smelly mortals are not that bad, and the two races get on quite well, actually, even if the Werecats continue to quietly believe they are the superior race.
to Werewolves: the two races will never, at best, see eye-to-eye on just about anything (except, maybe, their mutual hatred for Vampires), but at the moment there is a mutual peace between them. The territories are minded carefully, and while an occasional brawl will break out between the two races, there have been no recent major offenses that would push the two to war.
to Vampires: clearly there is no "making up" between the two parties in this example. Too many centuries of mutual homicides have seen to that; Werecats will continue to hunt and kill every infected they see.
| | | Vampires
Vampires, even more than Werecats, are extraordinarily independent, and retain their own thoughts on each of the species. Because of their ranging views, it is impossible to accurately gauge how they feel, as a whole.
