For Lorin and Shadi, unless someone else has a good reason for showing up.
-------
Koalin had been left at the stable, in the capable hands of a stable boy, though normally Shadi would have taken his time to unsaddle, brush, and feed her himself. It'd been a lot of travel, and it seemed like a good idea to get the prince inside, and maybe something to eat.
The young mage lead Lorin up stone steps to the white and green trimmed house, relatively quiet after spending most of the time since they'd reached Riyer filling any silence with idle chatter about the town, or its horses. When he reached the door, he pulled it open for Lorin. "It's my teacher's house, but no one should be back yet." He pushed one of his blonde braids back, thinking it was probably a bad thing his teacher was away, when another powerful mage would probably be helpful. Despite that, he didn't feel particularly let down when the house revealed no sign that the two young pupils and his teacher were back.
When Lorin passed through the door he'd see a large living room with a dark green rug taking up most of the floor. There were several large book cases, which stopped just short of over powering the room, with a rather long tea stain colored couch against the perpendicular wall. There were two large windows with white curtains letting in a stream of let from the low set sun. A coffee table was set besides the couch, a number of books stacked on it, loose papers, a few children's drawings, and a couple small clay figures at various stages of being painted.
An open doorway to their immediate right lead to the kitchen and dining room, and left one could assume was a hall opening to bedrooms and perhaps a study, or some such.
