Leon followed the blonde soldier until he stopped, presumably waiting for the camp to set fire. 'Along with the rest of the forest.' All he had to do was wait for the moment to be right and they would be running, killing and burning. At that time they would be distracted enough for him to do what he wanted. He repressed a smile at the thought and listened for any guards on patrol. To his delight he heard footsteps nearby, which he knew wasn't Bart. Maybe they would be the ones to take care of the fire starter.

The vampires traced the scent until they could smell two paths. 'It seems they split off,' the leader of the duo thought. The vampire ordered his comrade to follow the other scent. The duo split off, heading their own destinations.
The vampire who ordered to trace down the other scent was named Anthony. As he got closer, it became more apperate that there was one human and he could smell something else...a fire. Anthony rushed to see who was starting the fire. When he saw the figure, he was shocked. It looked like a soldier. Lightly armored and equiped with a bow, clearly he was part of a recon team. But why was he starting a fire? He must be setting up a signal. Not being one with a horn, the vampire jumped the arson intruder.
Meanwhile, the other vampire, Walburg, was tracking the other scent. The scent was much strong, meaning there was more people. By the time he got close enough, he found he was getting close to the camp. He saw several figures, with their weapons and armor, they were no doubt part of the Royal Guard. However, one person in particular was quite different. He was dressed in a black robe; he wasn't a soldier. What the hell was he? Either way, they were dangerously close to the camp, and if they weren't taken care of, then their plans will be ruined. Lifting his horn, he blew it to warn the camp above.

Bart looked up when he heard the clatter of armor and quickly stepped back from the approaching vampire. When the bloodsucker threw himself at him, Bart lunged out of the way and turned back on his heel with his bow now drawn. Stepping back to put more distance between himself and the vampire, he fired an arrow at Anthony's head. That horn wasn't a good sound...
Cruz's heart froze, and he looked to where the sound of the horn came from. Oh God oh God oh God... "Leon, how far can you throw a flame?" he asked the magician. It was all or nothing, now. If he couldn't, they'd have to flee.
Three archers wasted no time in drawing their bows and scoping Walburg to riddle his head with arrows.

The sound of the horn alerted Leon, but he found more alarming was the quick response to it. 'Damn I'm going to have to play this one close.' "How far do you need it to be thrown?" He was unsure how many arrows each of the men had and he didn't want to be caught looking, so he kept that question unanswered. With the archers response time he knew there was no way he would be able to get them with out taking an arrow to the head.

The sound of the horn alerted the entire camp. Valmar walked out of his tent as he watched his troops scamble about into their positions. How on earth did their position get noticed? He guessed it would of been a matter of time. Unsure what force he was dealing, he gathered Brutus and Alexis. "Brutus, I need you to organize the camp and get them in a 360 formation around the camp. Alexis, get down to the siege batteries and make sure they are defended. I'll get a squad of men and personally see what the situation is all about." With that, the three vampires departed to do their duties. Valmar wasn't too happy.
Anthony missed the archer. As he figured out the human tactic, he drew up his shield to block the arrow. Then charging full speed, he rushed in with his sword in hand, swinging towards the soldier's chest.
After alarming his comrades, Walburg took cover behind several trees to avoid the rain of arrows that flew towards him. While he knew he could take on 10 lightly armored humans, he didn't really want to take any risks. Luckily for him, another duo answered his to his call. Named Rick and Lamhart, they were each armed with a shield and sword. Knowing that they had a good enough chance, the three bundled together, forming a miniature tortoise formation, and moved towards the line of archers.

Bart looked past the vampire and saw that the fire was taking off now up the trees and towards the elevated area. With that out of mind, he turned and fled through the forest when Anthony tried to close the gap between them again.
One soldier had wasted no time in starting an oil fire for Leon to take from.
Cruz pointed to the outsides of the trebuchets and barrels of what he assumed had to be what the vampires had rained down on them in the first battle. "There. Try to aim for one of those barrels. You're only going to get one shot; we have to leave!"
The three soldiers grimaced, now aiming for the three approaching vampires' feet and to the sides where they had to be sticking out a little. No way in hell the vampires were able to squeeze themselves completely in the berth of only three shields.
Two more archers both began circling the three approaching vampires from either side. Upon coming past their profile, they knocked their arrows and fired for their heads.

Leon didn't stop a smile from forming on his face, they already started a fire for him how kind, unnecessary, but kind. Well if he already had a fire it gave him more to play with, but oh the potential sitting on each man's belt. It was now or never. He took the fire started by the soldier and used it to lite the other oil packs on his belt, letting that start to burn the soldier. Meanwhile he used his left hand to take out one of his knives, stab Cruz in the neck, took it out and threw it at the head of another archer. He used some of the fire some the burning soldier to lite the belt of another soldier, now having two fire sources to play with. Almost laughing he manipulated the two fires with both hands to make sure the rest of the soldiers got to experience burning.

With the archers aiming at their feet and flanking them from both sides, the vampires got low and backpeddled away from the fire. One of the arrows stuck Rick in the ankle while the Lamhart got an arrow in the shoulder. However, things got chaoic as the robed human betrayed his brothen and burned them alive. Walburg was confused at the scene of events that unfolded him. Not only were they dealing with a mage but with an insane one with that. Walburg ordered his men to split off and charge the shocked archers.
Anthony caught up with the human archer, thrusted his sword through his shoulder, and tackled him to the ground. Taking it as an easy meal, the vampire struck his fangs into his neck.

Bart took it as a surprise that the heavily armored vampire managed to catch up to him. The soldier tented his head under his arms and drew his shoulders up to protect his neck, where Anthony's fangs would bonk into his small, rounded pauldron.
The first soldier fell back, screaming and writhing as he went up in flames. Quickly the other soldiers wisened up to the situation and were slicing their belts off entirely, but two more soldiers became blazing torches.
"STOP! PLEASE!"
"WHY?!"
Cruz paled as it seemed that he was now surrounded by a personal hell. The blade of Leon's dagger glinted in the firelight, and the blonde commander had just enough wit to dive out of the way. "Retreat!" he ordered the remaining archers, which were two from the vampire trio while the other three drew their swords in a panic and engaged the vampires while they were blind to what was behind them, plus the one that had backed off from Leon's other dagger and ducked away from the pyromancer.
Not after too many steps, the bright-eyed archer spun around in a crouch and knocked back an arrow, soaked in oil. Slowly exhaling, he fired the flammable projectile through one of the burning archers that still had the willpower to stand and up to the elevated land. Surely those trebuchets were big enough targets that it might hit one of them.
Or an explosive barrel.
Not to mention there was the first fire for the vampires to contend with that was spreading across the grasses at this point.

Leon felt himself get annoyed at the blonde one for moving in time, but they could all simple fall and die, made it slightly move fun anyway. The man shot an arrow as well aimed at something, it was to far away no to do anything about anyway. Three men were burning and the rest were still alive. 'Shoot wasn't quick enough. Good thing flesh is still flammable.' He took another fireball from one of the still burning men and aimed it at Cruz's head, then proceeded likewise with the other three not engaging the vampires. As an extra precaution he pulled out his other knife and heated it up throwing it to the right or Cruz in case the man decided to move again.

Despite the futile attempt to block the vampire's fangs, Anthony merely adjected himself, striking his fangs a little higher up the neck. As his bit into his human foe, he savored the taste of blood that flowed through his vains.
There was an explosion when the flaming arrow striked the barrel of gunpowder, damaging one of the siege machines nearby. The noise brought even more attention into the area. Walburg and his crew used the chaos to their advantage as they started to cut down the human force. Walburg sliced off an archer's leg, only to finish him off by stabbing him in the chest. Rick sliced off the arms of his victim while Lamburg simply lashed his fangs into his target. Meanwhile, the sentries from all over were starting to surround the area, ensuring no one can escape.

Bart noised when the fangs pierced his neck, and he admitted to himself with anguish that it was over for him.
The three soldiers facing the vampire trio fell away quickly. Although the one that Lamburg had bitten was silent, the two men that had their limbs cut down screamed in horror.
The bright-eyed soldier let the fire strike his leather armor, which he patted down as quickly as he could. Drawing his bow back again, he fired at the chest of the lunatic that had jeopardized their mission.
One retreating soldier had an unfortunate splash of oil on his leg where he had cut away the belt. When Leon's fire struck him, he went up in flames. Falling to the ground, he rolled and tried to beat the fire down with his hand.
A black-haired archer dropped down to a crouch and struck down the scorching flame on his arm until it just stung badly. He looked over to his side, where there was a scorch mark on a tree, and Cruz on the ground. The blonde commander yelled out in pain as he yanked out a red-hot dagger, which he dropped onto the ground to hold his injured side. "Go!" Cruz barked to the black-haired soldier, who begrudgingly followed the order. The black-haired soldier bolted through the forest, swerving away from where he heard the clatters of armor, which just sped up his hurry.
Cruz looked up, lacking the morale to even stand now. There was the sound of explosion, and he could hope that it would spread more fire around, but he felt like a failure; everyone around him was dying.

Their persistence on life was truly amazing and equally infuriating. Leon saw a soldier one draw back his arrow, but wasn't quick enough to fully dodge it so it hit him right in the left arm. 'Bastard!' In increased anger Leon took a flame from another burning soldier and shot a continuous stream at the man until the tree behind him caught fire. Now for the blonde one. He picked up his other knife that he had thrown earlier, heated it up, jammed it right in the blonde one's throat, then took it out along with his other knife. "I hope the vampire eat you." One of the other soldier was starting to flee the scene and he knew he had to act quick. 'But wait, the vampires have super speed, one of them will have to get him.'
He still had to take care of the arrow in his arm, which hurt like hell. Luckily the arrowhead had gone all the way threw his arm leaving a little bit of the shaft on the other end. Using his knife, he cut the shaft letting the arrowhead end fall to the ground and pulled the arrow out of his arm. Immediately he rolled up the sleeve of his robe and burned to wound to keep it from bleeding.

After killing his prey, Walburg spotted the last human trying to escape the battle. The vampire sprinted after the coward. After catching up with him, he swung his sword at his legs, chopping them off. He then fed on his legless victim by sticking his fangs into the soldier's throat.
Anthony drained the blood of his victim. The meal made him feel refreshed and energized. It was then when we realized the blazing fire that errupted. While the camp could see the flames and smoke, the vampire ran back up to warn them of the blazes in hopes to control it.
Valmar finally made it down to the battle scene, or what was left of it. Men scorned on fire, his soldiers gibbing their victims, and particular mage that helped them. The general ordered his squad to surround the scene, spread out and out of distance so the mage couldn't attack them all. Who was this man, and why did he foil the human's plans?

The bright-eyed soldier took the force of the mage's flamethrower, using a tree to keep himself up despite the agonizing burning. Before Leon could try to turn on his commander, the soldier ran forward, charging through the fire and tackling Leon to the ground while rubbing as much of the fire from him onto Leon's robes. Get a taste of your own fucking medicine, bastard! Bright Eyes will see you in heaven-- OH WAIT, YOU AREN'T GOING THERE.
The black-haired soldier spun around when he heard someone chasing him. Drawing his bow, he fired at the vampire's head.
The archer with now a burned leg managed to get the fire down, although now he was in a lot of pain. He drew his own bow, ready to shoot at everything that came even a few yards short of where he was on the ground.
