The couple develop some strong feelings, creating a more intimate relationship between the two... Thread Song:www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8FM8nyy_Fk
Travis woke up at the break of dawn. His back was covered by the leaves wet from the morning dew. His limbs were a bit stiff but a good strench fixed that right up. It was like another time when he slept outside. While he could of slept in the comfort of his cabin, he decided to tag along with Analisia and Ashemir. The ranger wanted to ensure their safety, and after walking for a hour, the trio made their rest in the woods by a stream. Travis went to check on Ashemir, but it seemed he left quite early. At least the vampire didn't kill him or Ana while they were sleeping. Hopefully, he didn't touch Ana...The ranger promptly went to check on his werewolf companion, to see if she was alright.

Analisia woke up when she heard Travis stir... Like most humans, he was fairly noisy. She quickly blinked away the last remnants of sleep and dreams, then sat up. The sun was just breaking over one of the mountain-tops. She watched it for a few moments, then turned toward Travis when he started towards her. "It would seem as if our companion felt it best to leave before we reached our destination," she chuckles softly then shrugs, the blanket falling around her shoulders. Like usual when she was traveling, she had curled up with only the blanket and her clothes to protect her from the element. But it made it easier to get started in the morning.
"How was your night Travis?" She asks casually, fussing with her nowmessy hair. At least she was trying to get it fairly straightened out. Better than how she usually kept it.

The ranger was glad she wasn't harmed either. They must of left some sort of impression on him. Still, it was disappointing for Ashemir to leave, but he didn't seem to want their company for too long. Whatever business the vampire was involved with, he didn't need their meldling, though a nice good bye would of been nice.
Travis turned his attention to Analisia. It seemed she had a nice sleep, with the exception of her hair. Even when messy in her appearance, she made was able to make the ranger smile. "I slept alright, but I'm a bit stiff." He walked over to the werewolf and squated next to her. "How about you? Did you sleep alright?"

Analisia smiled and nodded. "It was well enough, though I had a nagging feeling that trusting a vampire while I was sleeping was silly." she chuckles and shrugs, still combing her fingers though her hair until she could get it into a manageable braid. As her fingers were twisting the unruly hair into a braid, she turned her smile up at Travis. "Quite a strange night yesterday, wasn't it? Never really thought I would get along with a vampire so well, nor that everyone would be so accepting of what I truly am." She gives him a pointed look, then crosses her legs in front of her. It wouldn't be a crime to make herself more comfortable. "Is there anything to eat? Or should we go hunting?" It was unlike her to be so hungry in the morning, that was until she remembered eating nothing and only drinking ale last night.

The ranger took a seat next her. If she was going to keep herself comfortable, might as well do the same. "Yeah, it was quite strange indeed," he replied, "never before in my life have I seen a werewolf, a vampire, and a human conversed civily before. Just think if we talked with a werecat, boy wouldn't that been awkward." Travis gave a chuckle before going to the next conversation: food. Sadly, the ranger didn't bring any food but at least he knew that deer were crawling all over the place. "Well, we could go hunting, though you seem so comfortable, I wouldn't want you to move out of your place." He gave a smirk at her.

"Werecats.. hmph." she says with a small snort, her cousins weren't all that bad. Just lazy and filthy and horny to boot. She chuckled at the thought before Travis decided to tease her. She punched his shoulder playfully and snorted again. "Im a wolf, we are most comfortable when on the hunt. Not to mention I bet I could outhunt you any day." She returns his smirk and then Changes. Turning into a brown and black wolf, her eyes turned slightly lighter, but still held that mischievious spark. Then the wolf stands and nips at his leg, then walks away.
With a playful bark, Analisia padded off into the woods, sniffing to find a nice deer trail. Coming upon a fresh one, she waited for Travis to catch up so that they could start the hunt and feast. She only wished that Travis was one of her kind, so that she could still speak to him in this form. While waiting, she sat on her hind haunches and her tail flicked back and forth. She barked again, sounding her impatience to start the hunt.

Travis smiled at her. She surely knew how to play. Even as a wolf, she was quite playful and excited. She did have a beautiful plet for a wolf. After getting his leg nibbled on, he got up and grabbed his gear. While Analisia might of had the luck of animal instinct, Travis had his fair trade in experience, making him a good hunter.
The ranger caught up with Ana, using her barking as a guide. Clearly, she was excited like any pup would. It was sort of wierd having a friend who could play as a hunting dog. "Hey, you have to remember, I'm a human here. I can't run as fast as you." He pat her head. Her fur was quite soft. "So, I see you got a scent. Let's go get this deer."

Analisia let him pet her head for a moment, what did he think she was.... A domesticated dog? No. She was a wolf, proud and wild. She snorted at him, then stood again and started to scent the air. Her muzzle lifted to catch a better scent, then placed against the ground. When she caught the deer's scent. She took off, occasionally looking back to see if Travis was keeping up with her. When she finally caught up to the deer, she halted to a dead stop. Her eyes flickered around quickly, trying to find the best place to ambush the animal. She slunk over to a small area, covered with brush and roots. She stayed there for a moment, watching the deer take it's meal.

Travis knew petting her head wasn't diginifed for her, but he wanted to. Partly because he wanted to tease her but also he wanted to feel her fur. As Analisia ran off to trace the deer's trail, the ranger took off running as well. Despite the fact that Ana had the advantage of running on four legs, Travis was able to keep a considerable distance between her. As she slowed down, the woodsman knew their prey was close. He got next to the wolf and kneeled behind a shrub. He saw the deer grazing on the grass. He could take the shot, but he knew he would take all the fun away from Analisia, and that wasn't gentleman like. He glanced over to Ana and gave her the nod saying 'you take this deer'.

If a wolf could raise an eyebrow, that is what Analisia would be doing. She shook her head, then turned over towards the deer again. It was time to focus, time for the kill. Her eyes held close to the spot that she was aiming for, a small vein right on the deer's neck, perfect for a quick clean kill. She started to inch forward, as quietly as she could. Her body close to the ground.
Then she sprung out. The deer had jumped the same time she did, so she missed her mark, but she was able to recooperate and hamstring the poor beast. After a few steps the deer fell, but was still kicking and thrashing. Analisia padded over to the beast's head, her jaws wrapping around his neck. With a quick twist of her neck, she snapped the deer's neck and crushed his windpipe, an instant kill. When the deed was done, she Changed back to her human form. Kneeling beside the animal. One hand placed to the spot where her jaws had bitten down.
If Travis moved closer, he would hear that she was praying to the deer's spirit.

The ranger watched Analisia take out the deer. At first, he thought he might of had to help, but after correcting herself, she was able to take it. Travis could only admire how skillful she was. As he got up and meet up with Analisia, he couldn't help but think that she was praying. Then again, that was most likely werewolf custom and he didn't have much a problem with it. "Nice job, Analisia," he complimented as he pulled out a knife so he could skin the deer. "So, how do you like your meat cooked?"

"Cooked?" After she was done praying to the spirit, she looked at Travis. Her brows furrowed with confusion. Then she chuckled. "I prefer raw meat, but I am sure that that wouldn't settle well with your weak human stomach." She punches his arm playfully. "Feel free to cook it however you like. I would like to see what kind of foods you enjoy eating."
With that she looks at him with a small inviting smile. She really did want to learn more about him. Even if things would be strange. "Travis, what exactly do you want?" The smile drops from her face, and she looks at him with a serious face. The question came out of nowhere, but she knew that she needed to know before things got too serious. They had only ever met twice after all, and yet they felt so close.

Somehow, he knew she was going to say something like that, so he figured he'll leave some meat raw. Though it seemed she was interested in the human's diet. He smiled as he carved through the deer's meat, "Well, I perfer to cook it median-rare, cooked so it won't kill me, but juicy enough that'll it'll taste good. Though, this would go well with some mashed potatoes and biscults." He was making himself hungry by thinking about that.
When Analisia asked him what he wanted, he stopped cutting. It was a strange question for him. At first, he wasn't sure what she was thinking of, but after looking at her, he figured what she wanted. Her long brown hair, her chocolate brown eyes, her smooth tanned skin, her long legs...he couldn't help but think that she was the one he wanted, despite the fact that she was a werewolf.
However, his mind went back to reality as his blade sipped and nipped his finger. With a nice clean cut, Travis quickly brought his finger to his mouth, sucking the blood that was coming out.

Analisia wondered what he was thinking about when he was staring at her. Then he nicked his finger. She smiled and covered her mouth, holding back a small chuckle. Then shook her head. She takes the knife that he had set down and starts to cut up the deer for him. She cut out the heart lastly and holds it up to the sky. Then digs a hole in the ground and places the heart in it. "To keep the deer's spirit alive." She says to Travis, though she doesn't look at him. When the hole is filled in, she turns back around to him.
"You didn't answer my question Travis. What do you want? Between us... I mean... I know that we are friends, and that we can be traveling companions... But did you want anything more than that? I need to know, especially now that you know what I am." Her eyes capture his gaze.

Despite cutting his finger, the ranger was ok. It seemed Analisia took his place in skinning the deer for him, which he didn't mind. The werewolf then took the heart and placed it in the dirt. It was another werewolf rirtal, preserving the spirit of the deer. It was quite interesting for Travis, despite being a Christian, did like some of the spiritial rirtals involving nature.
He turned to face Analisia again. She still wondered what he thought upon their relationship. In his mind, it was quite complex. There were some many issues to deal with that made the simple question complicated. Yet, his heart had the simple answer. "I want to be with you," he answered. He couldn't believed he said that but it felt right to him.
