"I find my trade quite exciting. In fact at times, it seems a bit too exciting, but hey, it's something I'm good at, and I enjoy it." Travis went to have another sip but it seemed he drank the glass empty. However, the bartender swiftly retrieved another pint of ale for the ranger. While he didn't want to have another, he thought that maybe two glasses would do him well.
"However, your job seems interesting. It may not be as dangerous, but can be as adventurous. Besides, I wouldn't mind doing something subtile for a change. You know, just to catch a breath."

Analisia smirked. "Well maybe you can take over for me sometime. I am sure it would be a breath of fresh air compared to chasing down criminals." She shrugs and looks around, seeing if there was anything else that she should pay attention to, unfortunately there wasnt.
"In all honesty," she says looking back at the ranger. "My job is much too easy, few travel into the forests nowadays. And who can blame them, with all the talk of werewolves going around."
Ok, so casually mentiong werewolves was probably not one of her better plans. But this guy was nice, and would probably make a good travelling companion, so it was better to get a feel on his perspectives on werewolves right away. She began to play with her braid again, it wasnt a concious action, it was just habit.

"Yeah, I guess I can understand why people would be afraid of werewolves," replied the ranger, "People are usually prejudge towards people that are different, which while understandable, also leads to ignorance." He took another sip of his ale, "Werewolves or not, I wouldn't mind traveling into the forest. In matter of fact, I think it would be interesting to meet one."
Travis then looked at the woman. She was starting to play with the braid in her. The woodsman thought it was kind of cute, and started to giggle at Analisia.

At least he didnt sound like he hated them. Or so she was led to believe. He mentioned being interested in meeting one, if he only knew how much sooner that would come about than he had thought.
As she thought this the man started to giggle. Her brow furrowed and she looked at him in confusion, had he said something funny? Had she done something strange? Shaking her head slightly, she just smirked. "I guess you could say that, about things that are different bring prejudice, and that prejudice bears ignorance. Though I must add, ignorance usually bears to fear."

It seemed the woman thought his giggling was strange, causing Travis to stop it. But he couldn't help but keep his stupid grin. Analisia added on that ignorance also stems from fear. "I guess that's true, too. Fear of the unknown is something that all men suffer from. It's only nature afterall."

Nodding slightly, she flashed a small smile at him. The smells coming from the tavern were starting to overwhelm her as the night drew late and more men came in for stronger drinks. Her nose twitched again at all the scents, but she tried to stay focused on what Travis said. "It is only natural. Amusing how many things are just that, natural." She chuckles pensively, then looks at his eyes. "And how many things are quite the opposite."

"Yeah, I guess," he replied. In this moment, there was a short pause. Travis examined Analisia with detail. She was clearly an interesting person and a likely good companion. But there was something odd about her. Maybe it was her mannerisms, maybe it was her background, but something was different about her. But, it was this strangeness that made her interesting and in someways an attractive person.
"Umm, so, where are you staying the night?" he asked, somewhat in a nervous way for he was afraid i would be taken the wrong way.

Analisia watched Travis as he looked her over. She didnt mind it, she just wondered what could be going through her mind. Then his question took her by surprise, she laughed quickly and then covered her mouth. When she got herself to quiet down she smiled at him. "Probably somewhere in the forest, I never spend the night indoors. You cant see the stars with a roof over head. Why do you ask?" She teased him gently, wondering if he had meant it that way, or was just being the gentleman and looking out for what was often mistaken as a 'helpless girl'...

"That's quite admirible of you," smiled Travis, "Not really alot women are as brave as you, sleep alone in the woods. Hell, I bet you're braver than most men." The ranger gave a slight chuckle before moving on. "Anyways, I wonder if I could..." he was trying to becareful with his words, trying to not seem ungentleman like, "spend the night with you. Not in the 'romantic' sense, but just to chat." He didn't want to come off as a prevert looking for a one night stand. He actually kinda liked the woman and wanted to know more about her. He hoped she didn't take his invitation the wrong way.

Analisia giggled a bit, he seemed quite nervous for asking such an innocent thing. Perhaps it was because of how he was phrasing it. She takes a deep breath and looks at him with a smirk. "Not as many women are as dangerous as me," she says teasingly before flicking her wrist. Seemingly out of nowhere a dagger appeared in her hand. She twirls it in her hand for a few moments before making it disappear once more.
"As for what you request, I would be glad for the company. Far too often I spend nights in silence, it would be nice to have someone to talk to," her smirk turns into a soft smile and she nods her head as if confirming something. "But the night is not that old, and it would seem as if you havent finished your second pint."

"Aye, you're right," he said before finishing the rest of his pint. Two ales was good enough for the ranger. While he could handle more alcohol, he didn't want his mind too clogged up. Besides, he hated hangovers.
It was exciting that Analisia accepted his offer. Even though she was an independent woman, she too was affected by the effects of being a loner, something Travis could relate to himself. "So, since the night is young, what should we do?"

Analisia mulled over the question, instantly turning down a few of the answers that popped into her head. Even with the thoughts turned away, her cheeks were colored a slight red. Finally she turned her gaze back to Travis. "You said that you wanted to chat, so why dont we talk. Since that is the main purpose of your staying around me."
She looks into his eyes, forcing the blush on her cheeks to go away. She figured that it was a safe enough answer for now. Though she didnt know how well it would work out. Talking usually led to questions asked and secrets outed.

While the woman was playing it safe with her answer, it seemed she some other ideas. The ranger was able to see it in the pink in her cheeks. What was she thinking of that would make her blush like that? While it was most likely something that shouldn't be known, Travis wanted to tease it out of her.
"What were you thinking about?" he asked in a playful matter.

Analisia bit back the growl that was rising in her throat. "What would make you think that I was thinking anything in particular? Perhaps I was wondering how good my dagger would look lodged in your throat," she copies his playful tones. Then chuckles. "I was thinking about the pleasantries of having your company."
Yet again, a safe answer. While it wasnt really like her to be so cryptic, Analisia didnt feel that being blunt would be appropriate this time. Especially with her mind filling up with more of those thoughts that she had shot down before.

Travis knew he shouldn't poke the beast too hard. Even though she was joking, the ranger could tell she could thrust those daggers down his throat. Still, he kinda wondered what the woman was thinking of, maybe it was sexual, but whatever. It's a pandora's box not meant to be opened.
The ranger tapped his hands on the table. He wasn't sure what to talk about or what to do. He hated being a stiff and unable to create any conversation. It was when the conversation becomes a stand still, that he develops some impulsive ideas. "So, do you want to dance?" he asked.
