1. Was put to a vote and decided that this is Cannon 2. Open to anyone. - - Analisia had her dark cloak on as she entered the tavern. It hid her pretty well, and she honestly didnt want anyone to remember her face here. She picked a table in the back that was just right to watch the comings and goings of the other patrons, sitting down at it promptly.
She had no intentions of staying here for more than a few drinks and maybe a good meal. Though she doubted that anything would suit her tastes for the moment.
Sighing deeply, she waved over a wench and ordered a mug of stout ale. Analisia had a taste for strong drink, and she had the fortitude to drink lots of it. Sighing again, she waited for her drink to come, and took to watching the other patrons. Her brown eyes glinting softly against the light of the laterns.

The ranger entered the bar with mild interest of talk. Travis would normally goto the Dragon's Keep but since Malcolm was a pain in the ass, he would rather goto the competing than deal with that man. He took his seat in the back; his table was next to a woman in a black cloak. After the woman made her order, Travis called the bartender and ordered a tea...actually an ale. He was in the mood for something that was a bit stronger. Besides, one drink wouldn't harm him.

Analisia watched the man enter the tavern. She took the mug of ale from the waitress and drank from it slowly. Her eyes sweeping over the patrons, not lingering over any in particular. She scents the air softly, picking up the different smells, mostly the alcohol that drifted over the entire place.
It was relaxing here. Analisia let herself settle and pushed the hood back from her face, her long hair pulled back into a tight braid. She looked around again, her eyes settling on the man that sat in the table nearest to her. A small smile finding her lips, he smelled of the forest. It was a pleasant thing after being away from her home for so long. She mulled over what she wanted to do next in her mind, eyes still lingering on him.

As soon the ranger got his ale, he payed the bartender his tip and took a sip of that golden liquid. The drink was bitter sweet to Travis, who wasn't much of a drinker, but loved the occasionial beer. It was small joys like these that made the woodsman forget about his problems. He could understand why a person drown their sorrows away with alcohol, even though caused a lot problems.
Despite enjoying his drink, he couldn't help feel that he was being watched by someone. He scanned around the room and there wasn't anything out of the norm. He saw what appeared two friends playing cards, another group was just talking, and next to him was the woman in the black cloak, who happened to pull back her hood, revealing her face. She seemed to be staring at the woodsman. At first it seemed might be just coincidence, but the longer her eyes lingered on Travis, the more he question.
Did she think the ranger was attactive? Did she think he was a threat? Was she an assassin? What was so interestly about the ranger that made this woman want to look at him for a long period of time? Travis decided he should find out why she had a keen interest in him.
Taking a sip of ale, he walked over to the young woman's table. "Hello, I couldn't help but notice you are sitting by yourself. Would you like some company?"

Analisia smirked softly when the Ranger got up to join her table. She took another drink from her flagon and looked up at him while he spoke. One eyebrow perked.
"Perhaps," she says coldly, unused to talking to the people around her. She motions for him to take the seat across from her. Her nose twitching slightly as it took in his smell. "I do not mind the company, as long as the company does not mind me." She chuckles gently then finishes her mug of ale. Setting it down she motions for the waitress to bring her another. Eyes still on the Ranger. "Since you are here for company, is there perhaps something you wished to discuss? Or are you the type to sit quietly?" Her way of speaking was what gave it away, the fact that she wasn't around people much.
She raises a hand to bring her braid around, playing with the tip of it as she spoke.

Travis took the seat across from her. From what he could tell from her, she wasn't a social person. At least that's one common trait they both share. But, why did she have interest in him? He wasn't sure. Either way, he couldn't bore her now.
The ranger chuckled, "Well, I don't know. I thought I was under the impression that you wanted my company. I mean, I'm not exactly a talkive person either. But since I'm here, I might as well talk to you."
As he spoke, he gazed into the woman's eyes, stroking his chin, trying to calculate her moves.

She starts to nibble on her braid, looking him over. Then brings the hair from her mouth and smiles at him. Her brown eyes glinting against the latern light again.
"You might as well," she says with a small chuckle again. She turns away from him to look up at the waitress that had brought her another drink. She takes it with a small smile and hands over the gold pieces. Turning back towards the Ranger, she pretends to smell the drink, instead taking in his scent again. It was an aphrodesiac to her that smell, making her smile again. "I figure that I might as well give you my name, but only if I get yours in exchange. Analisia... And you are?"
Waiting expectantly, Analisia starts drinking slowly again. Letting the buzz run over her.

"The name is Travis," answered the ranger with a smile. He careful observed the woman's mannerisms. She seemed to be playing with her hair a lot. She also seemed to have a thrill from smelling. The woodsman wasn't to sure how the smell of this place was so attractive, afterall, all he could smell was the foul scent of smoke and alcohol. Whatever floats her boat, he didn't care.
"So, are you a native here or a wandering traveler?"

"Depends, I dont live here, or anywhere around here, but I am not exactly a /wandering/ traveler. I go where I please, where ever I might find some quiet and escape," as much as she avoided the question, her tone said that the answer was plain. "Tis a pleasure to meet you Travis. Are you from around here?" She already knew that answer to that, but why not play along for the moment. Taking another drink from her mug, Analisia dropped her gaze from him. It was rude to stare, even among her kind. But she honestly couldnt help herself, he reminded her so much of the home that she had left behind. At the thought, a small frown crossed her face, if only momentarily.

"Nah, not really," replied Travis, "I do have a home in Tiaelde, but I rarely live in it. I guess in someways, I'm kinda like you." He took sip from his mug. While he took his drink, Analisia finally broke eye contact for the first time. It was also the first time where she saw her frown. He wondered what was going on in her mind.
"Are you feeling ok?" he asked.

Analisia looked back up at him and the frown disappeared as if it were never there. The small small back in place.
"Yeah, I am fine. Just remembering something that isn't worth remembering," she shrugs slightly. "So, is there any purpose to you wanderings? Or do you just enjoy the feeling of travel and seeing someplace new?" It was small talk, Analisia sucked at small talk. But she didnt know anything else to do. She couldnt just say, 'hey there you smell of forest and that is the only reason I am interested in talking...' That would be stupid and give away what she was within moments.
She really didnt want anyone to know what she was, not until she was long gone from the city again.

"It's a little of both," answered the ranger with a smile, "My profession requires me to travel around the country. However, I do love the adventure of traveling to a different place. It's something I enjoy. However, admitively it was kinda of a lonely life" He smile disappeared after that last sentence.
To think about, he didn't really have much in this world. His parents were dead, the only true love he ever had was gone, and he was able to create new enemies each day. He was a one man desperato against the whole world. He took some pride in the fact that he's still standing in this wild storm called life, but at times he did wish he wasn't alone. He took another sip before asking, "Have you wondered that you are alone in the world? That, when you die, no one will know or care that you did."

Analisia bowed her head when he asked that. "I have a family that will miss me, but I havent seen them for a very long time.... I left when I was young," She shakes her head and takes a deep breath. "I dont know if they even care anymore, and I dont really want to find out..." She takes a big drink from her mug. Then looks back up at Travis, attempting another smile. "What exactly is it that you do?"
Anything to change the subject. She didnt want him to ask about her pack... Or family. She smirks softly and then looks at him again. Wondering if he thought that she was crazy yet. So few people could stand her for longer than a few moments. She watched him for his reaction, hoping that she had evaded the usual questions about her family.

While the ranger could tell the woman wanted a subject change, at least she has a family. She might of abandoned them, but at least they were alive. Still, the thought of that discussion was depressing the woodsman, so he'll head and answer the question.
"Well, to be honest, I'm bounty hunter. I track down criminals and capture them, so they can receive the justice they deserve. It's a good job, you know. It's challenging work, you're outdoors; You won't go hungry because at the end of the day, so long there are criminals running amuck, someone is going to be needed to get them."
He then returned to his smile.

"Sounds like a fun job, much better than my own occupation," she chuckles playfully. "I simply watch over whatever forest I happen to be near and make sure that people dont take more than their share. At least you get a bit more excitement, and the assurance of a meal." Smiling softly once more, Analisia sets her flagon of ale aside. She had drunken enough for now. "I am sorry, I seem to be going into far too much detail of your life, please excuse me."
Chuckling nervously, Analisia tried to look anywhere but at the ranger. She didnt want to admit her embarrasment, nor that she was glad to meet someone else who lived such a life. Shaking her head, Analisia reminded herself to be calm. "Do you enjoy this life? Traveling, adventure? Is it something that you enjoy? Or something that you do because you are good at it?"
