"I can't have you razzing my guards or blaming us for decisions that weren't ours to make," remarked the second guard, notable for the green ribbon tied around his arm. "If you behave, you can stay."
Lumi breathed out a sigh of relief. Well, time to be on the lookout, and to watch the drawbridge...

This time, the formation was more prepered and expected the giant boulder. With precision and speed, the formation broke apart and left a big space for the boulder to land in. The soldiers continued their attempt to climb the wall. A few were able to grabble their hooks over the wall, swung across the moat, and started to climb up the wall. Valmar, meanwhile, directed his siege weapons to fire upon the wall's catapults. After adjusting their aim, the crew launched an explosive boulder at the wall catapult.

The grappling hooks were coming in at a rate that was breaking even between manageable and unmanageable, while guards tried to throw the hooks back down or hack the ropes with their swords and send the blood-suckers into the holy-water-moat. The blue-eyed guard grabbed a torch again, touching the fire to the rope one of the vampires was using to climb up. He guarded his section of the wall, leaving the archers free to continue their work, although one was working with an arrow through his shoulder.
Meanwhile, one guard was struck in the eye with a grappling hook with a wretched yell.
"Incoming!" the white-haired guard shouted as a boulder came for them. He and a few guards and archers sprinted off of their section of the wall, but still ended up some terrifying inches off the ground when the rock made impact. The white-haired guard skidded some feet away, looking back to see the dark-skinned guard lying face-down on the stone, not moving. "!!" The white-haired guard started crawling toward his commander, making sure to stay out of everyone's way.

(Safe to say that Zoshi and Lumi can be skipped until either the launch team comes to the drawbridge mechanism, or the main force starts to break in.)

( *hoards twenty dollars* >.> )
Oh, what a wake up call.
Cheveyo bolted up in bed, brown eyes wide. The sounds outside were practically deafening; stone slamming against stone, the faint crackling of fire…it assaulted her senses brutally and with no remorse.
The young chieftess jumped out of bed and ran to the window, tearing it open. The rancid smell of smoke hit her like a train, and she coughed a few times before looking back out. Hypersensitive senses normally were a blessing, but right now, they were just Hell. Her ears were ringing, and a plethora of scents were practically attacking her. “Spirits! What is going on…?!” She wondered aloud, feeling adrenaline and fear course through her veins. As well as curiosity…but that kind of went hand-in-hand with the fear. The fear of an unknown enemy…
Cheveyo, who had collapsed into bed with her clothes on last night due to the exhausting trip, simply grabbed her scabbard, attached it to her belt and made for the door. She left her cloak behind – it being the only article she had shed, save her scabbard – so she currently wore a deep green strapless top, a dark brown skirt with a slit down the right side, and a pair of brown boots.
Said boots pounding against the stairs, she ran into the lobby and found it to be deserted. A light haze of smoke found its way through the open windows, adding another bothersome smell to Cheveyo’s list.
The werecat left the inn in a hurry and shut the door behind her. She then ran down the street, this one being vacated…for now. She had only run for a minute or two when she found the cause for that rude awakening.
Her eyes widened further at the sight before her. Guards running about, flames eating away at something that was no longer recognizable…all Cheveyo could tell was that it was large, and – of course – on fire.
She looked about frantically, trying to find out what was happening. Obviously, Cados was under attack, but by whom? And…
Oh, dear. Where was Aria?
Cheveyo felt more fear rising inside of her as she debated what could have happened to her Ambassador.
No! You don’t have time for this! Worrying isn’t going to help any; Aria is a big girl, she can take care of herself! You, on the other hand, have been standing in the same place for the past couple minutes, looking like an absolute fool! MOVE!
Cheveyo shook her head a few times to hopefully clear it before starting to look about again. A group of four people caught her attention, especially the red head…wait…was that Lumikki?
The young Chieftess made her way over to what appeared to be one of her people. “Lumikki?” She asked once she was a few feet away.

The climb up the wall was stacked with its challenges presented by the defenders. The humans attempted to cut ropes of the invaders. Several fell to the blessed moat, burning the creatures from hell. However, a few were able to climb over and started to reign havoc upon the guards. The vampires either slaughtered the soldiers with their cold blades or fed from their victim's blood. A vampire corporal killed a guard then taking the man's polearm, stabbed through three more soldiers before throwing them down in the moat. The attackers next objective was to neutralize the wall's remaining batteries.
The squad continued to eye the catapult team and the chaos along the wall. The humans manning their station were starting to get worried about the vampires coming over the wall, but they kept their ground as they continued to load the machine and launching stone at the other side. Accuminating their supplies, the launch team concluded they still had enough fire bombs to dispose the battery. Lighting up, they threw two molotovs at the target. The catapult and its crew lit up in flames. Two humans that weren't caught by the flame radius were immedately killed as the squad rushed them with blades. With one more threat to the army taken care off, the squad made use of the chaos to get to the draw bridge.

As several vampires made their way onto the wall, efforts to suppress the rest of the bloodsuckers shifted to kill the ones that were there. Which, obviously, was easier said than done, and allowed more vampires to climb the wall. The human guards resorted to throwing the oil buckets and torches at vampires to light them on fire.
The white-sashed guard grabbed his spear from where it was leaning on the wall and shoved the blue-eyed guard from the action. When given a confused look, he quickly explained, "Tell the others in the city that they're breeching the wall. Go!"
"Come on, get up!" The white-haired guard said, shaking his comrade's shoulder desperately as vampires started hauling themselves up. It seemed that the dark-skinned guard had just been stunned, because he pushed himself up and shook his head. Upon seeing the dark-clad warriors, the dark-skinned guard brandished his claymore, while the white-haired guard drew a scimitar from his sheathe, while two daggers hung from his belt. This was either going to be a very short, or a very long fight...

The guards arched their brows slightly at the new woman that had come over.
Lumi looked over in Chey's direction, her quizzical expression quickly shifting into one of shock. "Oh... C-.. Cheveyo?" What was the leader of the werecats doing here?? And why did she have to talk to her? The redhead shifted uneasily, looking around for any sign of vampires, as though fighting the beasts would be a more preferable situation. It wasn't as though she held much loyalty towards her leaders anyway. Having to talk to one of them might make that fact apparent. "Why are you here?"

Cheveyo, though she barely knew Lumikki, found herself glad to see a familiar face. "Ambassador Talei and I came to the city to speak with the royals...only to find this the next day." She told her fellow werecat as she looked around. "Do you know what's happening? Who's attacking?" She could see figures ascending the wall, but she had no idea who or what they could be. If her senses weren't so clouded, she'd be able to tell using those, but...well, that just wasn't possible right now.

The vampires continued their murderous bloodbath on the city walls. After securing a section of the wall, more soldiers could scale the wall and reinforce the fight on top. Wilburg, finally making his spot on top of the stone fortress, sighted the white-haired guard and the dark-skinned guard. With two soldiers on his side, the sergent attacked the duo with this boardsword, using his armored shoulder block the spearhead and making a cut at the albino's leg.
Launch team finally made it to the draw bridge. However, a problem just arose: werecats. The leader could smell the feline scent. Why were they there? Were there more? The vampires weren't sure how significant this was. The leader hoped this was just a coinicidence and the werecats were just happened to be caught in the battle, as suppose to being called on by their leader. The team decided that they should split up; the first group will take care of the guards and werecats while the other group tries to draw the bridge down.
With a plan, the team went into action. The first group of five, led by the leader, went head on ito conflict the threat, while the other group scattered off to draw the bridge. Using the last of the molotovs, they threw the fire bomb at the unfortuate bystanders by the gate.

The white-haired guard half-jumped, half-danced away from Wilburg's strike, as his gaze swept over the other vampires accompanying the sergeant. The dark-skinned guard quickly took to a charge while Wilburg recovered from the miss, swinging his claymore from the side to cross through Wilburg's neck.
The blue-eyed guard was rushing down to the city while the white-sashed guard covered his escape.

Zoshi raised her shield as she heard something it hthe ground, and almost instantly was aware of an explosion, shards of glass and fire flying everywhere. It was a small distance off from her, saving her from the blaze, but one of the farther reaching glass shards nicked her face, drawing a thin line of blood. Before she could reflect on that, however, she became aware of the vampires rushing them.
"For honor, and for glory!" She proclaimed, rushing to meet the force with her shield and sword raised. She would proceed to try to bash one of the five vampires with her shield, using her forward momentum to put force behind it.

Lumi shifted her weight a bit, "Well... the city is under attack, and I don't exactly know who's leading, but I smelled vampires." Suddenly, there was a fiery burst, and she noised in surprise, ducking behind Zoshi's shield. She might be a werecat, but Zoshi was armored! When the explosion was over, Lumi readied her sharpened cross at first, but then remembered Chey. "Umm.. Chieftess, where /is/ Aria?" But then Zoshi started running off, and Lumi made a step to hurry after her charge. Chey had better be brief!
Two guards were caught badly by the explosion and dropped to the ground, screaming out in agony and horror when they looked down to see that one was missing half of his leg, the other missing part of his arm and a good chunk of his side.
The other five guards quickly turned toward the advancing vampires, and the guard with the green ribbon noticed the other vampire party rushing for the drawbridge mechanism. "Two of you, come with me to stop them! The rest of you, defend this position!" he commanded, gesturing to a heart-faced guard and a guard with a knitted pin on his chest. The green-ribboned guard charged for the vampires heading for the drawbridge mechanism, unsheathing his long sword. The heart-faced guard held a spetum, while the knit-pinned guard had a war axe.
