"Tch." Was all Harrier could manage for a time. What did one talk about with a werecat anyway? He wasn't exactly one for meaningless conversations either. His lips pressed together as he walked as quickly as he could manage- not very. The awkward silence dragging on him more than the displeasure of talking to a werecat, he asked, "How goes the hunting in Feryn?"

Cheveyo, who had also become quite frustrated with the silence, had opened her mouth to speak when Harrier asked his question. Odd topic to bring up...but it's better than nothing, I suppose.
She shrugged, his arm shifting slightly as her shoulders moved. "Pretty well. My people always seem to be on top of that kind of thing...what about you? How are your people doing as of late?"

"Oh fine, just fine. A new litter of pups was born recently. The prey's been running plentifully." Harrier cave a short nod. "There were some bears in our territory, but we ran them out easily enough." Not without some injuries, but she didn't need to know that. He lapsed back into silence, unsure of what to say next.

Cheveyo fell into the silence, as well, equally uncertain as to what they could talk about. They were practically from two different worlds...it was quite difficult to find neutral ground.
So, not wanting to bring up something awkward, she remained silent, eyes wandering the area in front of them. They were close to Yina's borders, but the trees still surrounded them in rather plentiful amounts. These ones had not been touched by the fire, and looked quite normal...petrified and beautiful.
"They give me false hope, these trees..." She thought aloud, not truly realizing that what she was thinking wasn't remaining in her mind. "...Seeing them makes me sad, but...excited at the same time. They're all that remain, which is the depressing part, but...they let me know that not all of this area was touched. And that's comforting..."
