At Harrier's words Aria actually growled, the inhuman noise tearing unintentionally from her throat. She was almost physically trembling, an anger the likes of which she had never felt coursing through her veins. The alpha seemed to be the only one who had something to say- both the captain and the adviser had seemed to be at a loss of words, the latter even falling to his knees. In the background, the two wolves that had growled at her had taken a step back; ears back, they were looking at each other uncertainly.
Something Chey mentioned unsettled Aria, however. Yeszlin? She had had a few encounters with the Werewolf ambassador, but the tone of the conversation seemed to hint that something bad had happened to her. Even worse, it seemed that the wolves' visit had been because they blamed her people...idiotic dogs she seethed.
"There were children there," Aria shot at Harrier, "and the elderly. They do not fight- they were there for prayer, on pilgrimage, seeking solace, they would never instigate a battle that would endanger the cubs. Even if your words were true, explain to me how thirty of our people died at the teeth of only four of yours? We demand you hold responsible the killing party that murdered innocent cubs in cold blood, Harrier, son of mongrels, and that you leave this intrusion of our home before we decide to sate our pain on your filthy hide. We don't have your Ambassador."
For, behind them, the few loyalists that together Chey and Aria had been able to collect had gathered, glaring down the intruders and infuriated at the few snippets of the story they had gathered. From Aria's point of view, there was nothing here to negotiate- perhaps she was not i the most politically negotiable mood, but she wanted the wolves gone before a fight broke out.

“You dare call me a bitch when you’re the one who caused the corruption of Yina, and marked it with my peoples’ blood?! You’re even more insane than I thought you were if you believe that I am the bitch here, you charlatan!”
She took a step forward, still lingering behind Aria. The Ambassador seemed to have a much leveler head right now, and having the woman in front of her was probably for the best...she would have slashed the werewolf’s throat if not for Aria standing between them.
“Get out of here now, and take your disgusting little puppies with you. You are not welcome here after what you have done to Yina. Go, right this instant, unless you wish this to turn ugly. I’d prefer not to fight you, but I will if I must.”

Harrier took two steps backward before he drew his claymore. However, he lowered it, tip brushing against the ground. "I will not be blamed for Yina. My people would NEVER touch Yina." His voice was suddenly deathly quiet, as cold as ice. "I did not come here to be welcomed. I came here to get answers. And I will not allow you to threaten me, or my pack." He snarled again, the coldness of his voice beginning to be replaced by heat again. "Your people had to have ambushed them! When have there ever just coincidentally been thirty werecats in one place? THIRTY! When? You must have spent a lot of time gathering that many of your werecats to attack! You'd be lucky to find two together, but thirty?" His head turned to his advisor. "Baba. If you're as good as negotiating as you claim then..." He made a motion with his hand. "Negotiate!" He was really tempted to just howl a call to arms now, but he didn't want to upset Baba anymore than he already had. Besides, there was still plenty of time for that.

Now Harrier asks for his help, but it seems awfully late. After insulting and assualting their chief and the dreadful attack on Yina, there was no way elder could reverse such damage. Still, the advisor answered the Alpha's call. Rising up, he spoke his opinion, "First of all, I may suggest that both of you stop insulting each other. I understand that we're both suffering from one terrible news to another, but screaming at each other will not bring back those lost souls nor will it bring back Yeszlin, nor will it purify Yina. Second, we should further investigate this masscure in Yina and look at all possible sides. We just learned of the incident today and I will grantutee you that none us had any plans in assaulting those grounds. Even though I do believe your ambassador's account, we have yet seen the bodies or evidence. I would also point out that we didn't discover the absence of our ambassador until yesterday and that only few know about the kidnapping. Thus the idea that this terrible act was done for revenge is quite impossible. However, if this was done by renegade pack, then I'm telling you that we don't support their actions and we seek highest form of justice for them. Same implies to our own kidnapping. If this was done by your people, we expect you to help us search for these scandrols so we can deliever justice to them. Thirdly, don't you think that this is quite coincidential. Two weeks ago, we met together with humans with the promise to help flush out the vampires in Taiedia. With the kidnapping of Ambassador Yeszlin and the Yina masscure, don't think there might be someone pulling our strings. Clearly, we deny the crimes that have been committed. Either we are clearly lying to each other, or we are telling the truth. The evidence can tell many facts and many stories, but it can't always tell the truth." With his tendrum out of the way, Baba went silent.

Kahjit let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding, as Baba attempted to bring back some degree of peace. He was having a hard time imagining any option besides blaming the werecats. None of [/i]his pack would desecrate Yina. But perhaps if outsiders were somehow involved... It seemed to require fairly extraordinary circumstances to believe that, though. Baba wanted to assume the evidence was lying to them? Evidence doesn't lie, he was pretty sure thats why they called it 'evidence'. He didn't think to add anything to what Baba had said, instead waiting for Harrier or the cat's input.

(edit, because I missed something-)
As soon as Harrier drew his weapon Aria's small, curved blades found their way into her hands; she had instinctively lowered her base, almost crouching, but straightened warily when the wolf seemed to think better of his offensive move. Casting a quick glance at her Alpha, Aria said grudgingly, "I agree that we should investigate Yina further, though I will leave this decision to accompany you up to Chey." Behind her she heard the few congregated Werecats muttering to each other, their tones sounding murderous. The tense peace would not, she predicting, remain for long- she had wished the dogs had simply left, before things get out of hand.

Instantly, Chey had her golden dagger in her right hand, aimed over Aria's shoulder and pointed at Harrier. Even as his weapon lowered, hers stayed where it was. You could practically feel the tension in the air...it was suffocating her.
Once Baba began his 'negotiating', the sharpened point of her blade titled downwards ever so slightly. Her gaze remained on Harrier, silent rage still burning behind those dark brown eyes, even as Baba continued to speak. The fire never dulled, though it did strengthen briefly at the Advisor's doubt towards Aria's account. How dare he accuse her Ambassador's words of being false! Her fingers tightened around the hilt of her weapon, but it remained in it's angled position.
"Accompany them to Yina?" She echoed, the flames dying down just a bit as her attention turned to Aria for a moment. What Baba had said made sense, yes...but she couldn't believe it. Her emotions and thoughts were terribly jumbled right now, and her shaking still hadn't completely stopped. It was impossible to accept any new opinions just yet. Spirits, this is too much...
She returned her attention to Harrier then. "How do I know that I'm not walking into a trap by coming with you?"

"Because I am a wolf of honor," Harrier growled lowly at Chey. "I would never set up a a trap for anyone." He raised his chin. "If I am ever to attack you, it will be on an open battlefield. That's what I expect out of any of my pack." He bared his teeth for a moment. "If any dared attack someone without a declaration of war from me, they wouldn't be able to attack anyone else for a long, long time." He looked to his packmates. "We will go to Yina. Whether or not you follow is up to you."

It seemed his talking has slowed down the conflict but only by a hair. If only those were the first words spoken out of this meeting, then maybe things wouldn't be as complicated as they were. The only hope the elder has now is if they could find the villains responible for these terrible acts. If not, then the anger on both sides will boil over until someone declares war. "I shall come with," Baba announced, "It is my duty as a priest to seek if their sprints are guided on the right track."

Amizade had been watching the affair with questions whirring in her mind and her hand on the hilt of one of her faithful Katanas. Finally she could not contain herself any longer, her voice was just as strong as it would have been if she were merely talking to peers, after all if she was an aspiring Captain, she had to have a voice " What would happen if we can not resolve this quickly? I mean we can not fight,I mean we shouldn't fight. Not with such question of the validity of the evidence that has been placed before us."Amizade moved a bit to the front of the crowd so that she may be heard better. the woman held her head high as she continued to speak "I will stand by our Ambassador 100% when she says we have done nothing wrong." The young Werecat glanced over her shoulder at her peers for a second before continuing"I hear much from my peers on what goes on here and I have heard nothing of the faults that we are being accused of." Amizade did not mean the statement like a challenge merely an observation and possibly a hope to offer another perspective before anyone made ANY decision.

"If we go to Yina we can do nothing but examine corpses. Yeszlin may still be alive, we can't just leave." He stepped closer to Harrier, "If you feel investigating Yina is important, let me stay behind and look for Yeszlin. You can take the guard with you." If the werecat's had nothing to hide, than they had no reason to oppose his snooping around. He wasn't opposed to a werecat escort, since he wouldn't know his way around anyway, and certainly if something happened to him in their territory, it would just serve as conclusive evidence they were guilty. Besides, if it was Baba's duty to see the dead in Yina find rest, it was his to bring the living back in one piece.
His mismatched gaze flicked towards the unknown werecat that'd stepped forward from the small group backing Chey and Aria. Of course she would say she supports her advisor. What else was she going to do? Condemn her people? Then again, it wasn't like he understood werecat loyalty.

Aria turned her head slightly as one of the watching Werecats stepped forward from the crowd. It was a young, bronze-skinned woman with dark hair and eyes, looking to be around her own age. She looked shy on speaking, glancing around at her fellows as if expecting one of them to either agree or shake their heads; Aria recognized her as an applicant for the recently vacated Captain's position, though her name escaped her. At her conclusion, the Ambassador inclined her head slightly, mutely thanking her for her support, before turning her attention back to the wolves, who had begun to speak.
It was their Captain. Aria unintentionally bristled at his comment. "Corpses that can provide evidence," she said darkly. "As for your ambassador, I have already told you we do not have her. If you wish to search our home, however, you will understand when I require that I accompany you," she paused, waiting for a challenge.
"Cheveyo, if I may make a suggestion, I would advise that you accompany Advisor Baakir and Alpha Konvar to Yina. I have seen the destruction," her fingers convulsed slightly around the chain entwined between her hand and weapon, "I doubt my presence would be needed. I would also, however, advise you select a party to accompany you." So they cannot hurt you, nor skew the evidence.

Chey's eyes narrowed at Harrier as he spoke, but she said nothing to him. A wolf of honor...she inwardly scoffed. Anything but.
In response to Baba's words, she nodded once, the movement slight, and finally lowered her dagger. It remained in her hand, though.
When the brave werecat stepped forward, Cheveyo's attention turned to her. She immediately recognized the female, and once she was finished speaking, let the faintest smile appear on her face. "Thank you for your loyalty, Amizade." She said quietly.
Her head snapped back to Kahjit, smile disappearing, when he opened his mouth. Her expression darkened completely once he was done, but she still inclined her head in understanding. "I give you permission to search Feryn..." Aria then added her input on the subject, to which Cheveyo nodded again. "...but you must have Ambassador Talei with you."
Aria's suggestion made Chey seriously think. While going with the werewolves was obviously the smartest decision, something was pulling at her. She was, quite frankly, afraid to see those corpses...not that she would admit it. Seeing Yina in such a state would shatter any hope she had of retaining that precious memory. If she remained in Feryn and never went to Yina again, she could at least remember Yina as it was...
But...it was her duty.
She had to do what was right for her people, not herself. She needed to go to Yina...as much as she didn't want to.
Looking over her shoulder, she picked three werecats from their small army. "Dene. Numinu. Kanza. You shall accompany me."
The three nodded and stepped forward, forming a small half-circle behind their Chieftess.
She then turned to Amizade. "Would you like to come, as well?"

Harrier gave his guard captain a nod. "Very well. I will trust that you'll be safe in Feryn without your squad." He hoped so at least. "Find Yeszlin. If she has been harmed then..." His eyes glinted as he left the rest unsaid. He ignored the werecat who spoke in favor of the ambassador. Of course she would do such a thing.
His blade was returned to its sheath as he shifted forms. He was going to find out just what happened at Yina... Such a holy place, desecrated... How could they have done this?

Baba shifted to his wolf form and got next to Harrier. The elder knew the scene that he was about to see was going to be was going to be heartbreaking.
