"We found the place were she must have been taken, on her way to Cados. There was nothing there but her blood, bag, and the scent of werecat. We have nothing else to go on, but that there was also a tragedy in Yina." It wasn't that he was convinced the werecat's were guilty, so much as it was the best thing he had to go on. It seemed paranoid to suspect anything else, and if it were some anonymous attackers, they had even less to go on as to where or why Yeszlin had been taken.
He let Ana entangle their arms, leaning into her affectionately, though he stiffened for a moment when he saw the blur of white turn humanoid faster than he smelled Harrier's approach. He pulled his arm free so he could rest it on her shoulder, giving a reassuring squeeze. He spoke quickly, not wanting Harrier to believe Ana had come with the purpose of disobedience. "Analisia came to tell us their was a battle in the mountains. The human's pressed on without us." He looked down at Ana, for her to expand on the story for their alpha's benefit.
Mm, they still needed to see if ambassador Brenthor had made it or not, as well.

Analisia frowned when she heard what evidence Kahjit had, happy that he was leaning into her. Then when he pulled away and she heard Harrier's voice her head dropped down instantly. She nodded slightly when Harrier explained what she was doing here. She didn't want Harrier to think that she was going against orders. When Kahjit looked at her she looked down even more. "Travis," she nods in his direction," and I were up in the mountains and we heard the battle go on. Travis went on to fight beside the other humans, while I stayed in the forest and cleared a safe path for those who were able to escape. Travis saved the Captain of these humans, and we all met up at Travis' cabin, where we learned of the human's plight. After that we headed to Cados, but I broke from the group to learn of the pack's standing. Travis met back up with me and we headed straight for Naulas..." Her head stayed bowed the whole time, her voice meek.
If anyone knew Analisia, they would know that this was not normal at all for her. This was the exile in her, the one afraid of incurring more punishment, or not being accepted back. The only thing keeping her from balling up completely was Kahjit's arm around her shoulders and Travis' scent near her.

"The humans' plight?" Harrier echoed. "Which would be...?" His eyes narrowed at her in impatience. "And just how did this battle go? If you're going to come all the way here to give me a report, then it had better be a good one, at least. And what's he doing here?" His eyes fell on Travis. "You know how I despise outsiders poking into our affairs." Oh sure, they met after the battle, but why take him all the way to Naulus? His eyes then moved to Kahjit, noting the werewolf's arm around her. They didn't think that this report would just magically lift her banishment?

From his tone and how Kahjit and Analisia imediately showed refrence to the new werewolf, he was the alpha. Travis somehow expected Harrier to not give him or Ana a warm welcome. Still, the ranger spoke with confidence; he didn't give a damn that the chief didn't want his presense. "Disasterous." Pretty much the battle in a nutshell. "By the time I arrived on the battlefield, it was pretty much over. Majority of Banez's forces were killed. I was lucky that I was able to save the captain and his second-in-command." He wish could of done more. He wish he could of told of them about the night that he had with that vampire, which was a sure sign that they were preping something large. "The vampires are organized. They have full plated-armor, archers, siege weapons that can create much chaos. Even worse, their army is being led by Valmar. I'm quite sure your people have heard of his name in one lore or another."

"They believe the vampires are headed for Cados. And Travis expected the human ambassador should have arrived to us by now. I haven't been to check yet." Kahjit added. It seemed unnecessary to mention that he hadn't found Yeszlin. Her continued absence was proof enough of that. Since they could do nothing about it now, he'd just save that topic of conversation for later.

Analisia finally rose her head, getting back some of her gumption. She looked Harrier in the eyes, her face closing up. She assumed she wouldn't be let back. She had seen the look that Harrier had given Kahjit, the glance at his arm around her shoulders. It wasn't exactly the warm welcome she had been hoping from the man, but it was what was to be expected from an alpha, gruff, to the point. Cold. And so Analisia gathered herself once more, readying herself to leave her homeland once again, but not before she got some points across to Harrier. "Travis has been my companion for some time now, I have grown to lean upon him for support. He is also a good friend. He also knows the Captain of the humans, the man Banez. As he said, he was there for the battle, and he saved my life by helping me deal with a wound that still troubles me to this day." She stands taller, pushing aside Kahjit's arm to walk forward towards Harrier. "I am an exile. I could have chosen to forgo coming here and dealing with all of this. Instead I came to tell you that the humans need us. The vampires are stronger than any of us thought, they decimated the human's army while you were busy with the werecats. Do you think that is coincidence?" She crosses her arms under her breast and backs down a step. Then turns to Travis with a sad smile. "I think that I have outworn my welcome here." She looks over her shoulder towards Harrier. "I have brought the information, the humans wait for you at Cados. If you will not be there, I do not know why we even exist. Kahjit, thank you for your kindness. You have reminded me that though my time in exile is not yet complete, it does not mean that I am forgotten, or that you all hate me. I shall see you when my banishment is over." She starts to walk away from the group, hiding the tears that trailed down her face.

"I have heard no word from the ambassador either. This is most troubling," Harrier mused, eyes narrowing in thought. "If the humans are in danger we must send aide imme-" And that's when Ana decided to go on her tirade. When she looked him in the eyes he found his lips twisting into a scowl. Had she really spent so much time among the humans that she forgot that looking him in the eyes was a direct challenge? When she walked towards him, his expression darkened, and for a moment, he almost shifted forms to leap at her. "You still have much to learn," he growled darkly. "If you cannot even show your alpha proper respect, it seems as though your banishment has taught you nothing. You came here to give us a report. Do you think that entitles you to something? You came here to give your report because that is the right thing to do, because helping the pack comes before personal happiness." He stepped forward, eyes narrowing. "Don't you dare lecture me, and don't you dare turn your back on me until /I/ say this meeting has concluded! Have you been away from the pack so long that you no longer understand what it means to speak to your alpha?"

Travis observed the exchange between Harrier and Ana. He knew this wasn't a fight that he should engage in. He wasn't a werewolf; he wasn't accustomed to their rules and law. He knew his interfence would make things worst. The ranger has already meddled in enough affairs as it is.
However, Analisia's face of disappointment, along with Harrier's attidute, forced the ranger to intervene. "Excuse me, Alpha," he spoke up, "while understand your position, you are mistaken to believe that Analisia came here for purely selfish reasons. She came here, full well knowing, that she wasn't going to get her sentence communted. She came here, despite how you feel, to warn your pack about the threat ahead, as well to check on your well being due to your lack of appearance to help Captain Banez. She does care, and you shouldn't treat her badly because of the mistakes years ago."

Kahjit shifted uncomfortably at the exchange. Why was Ana throwing away her chance of coming back earlier? It was true, she wasn't entitled to anything, but if she'd just kept her mouth shut, and waited for things to be handled in their turn, it would have been something for them to talk about. He bowed his head, decidedly staying quiet as Ana and Harrier's personalities clashed against each other. He huffed quietly at Travis speaking up; he could understand the man wanting to defend Ana, but it wasn't his place to speak.

Analisia sighed and turned to face her alpha again, this time eyes lower, staring at his chest. Arms still crossed beneath her breast. She listened to what Travis had to say, glad that he was speaking up for her, but cringing at the fact that he had no right to speak. Kahjit's silence disgruntled her, but she had expected it. "Alpha," her tone much softer than during her tirade., though her anger still bubbled inside of her. "My banishment, my time with the humans has taught me much, if not what you had hoped for. I have learned to stand on my own two feet, to protect myself and those I care about. It may not be a good thing that I have become so independent, and the exile has caused me to forget some of my manners, especially around pack members. It has been long enough away from our customs and integrated with the humans, that there are times when I act more human than wolf, sadly enough. But what Travis said is true, I had no intentions of asking to return, no intentions of doing anything but telling you that the humans are in trouble and that Captain Banez needs you, the pack." She takes a deep breath, holding it for a moment. Then releasing it slowly. "I came to check on the pack's wellbeing, but first and foremost I came to get help for the humans, to see if you would answer their call." Analisia's hands were shaking, and so she brought them down behind her back. It had been long since she had had to control herself so. Her exile had allowed herself to indulge such fits at times, but she forced herself to remember the customs of her pack. She wanted to lash out again, or to just leave. But as Harrier had said, she couldn't until he declared it was time for her to go again.

Harrier's eyes moved to regard Travis coolly. Humans never did know their place, did they? "How I treat her is none f your concern. In truth, I am treating her far more liberally than law would allow. Have you considered that the law states that I should be running her out by force at this point?" Banishment was a harsh punishment; the retribution for going against it was just as harsh. "Do not think of me as some monster. I do not take relish in having to treat a member of my pack in this way." His gaze turned back to Ana and he was relieved by her submission. He didn't want to have to attack her for showing disrespect. He thought of many things he could say to her, but hesitated before deciding on this. "We well send aide to the humans immediately. I would not abandon them during such a time." He paused a moment, before continuing. "Ana. I will give you a chance to end your banishment early, if you would choose to do so." He was quiet a moment, watching her reaction. "If you are able to find Yeszlin, and return her to the pack, I will allow you to come home for good."

None of his business? Well, considering the fact she is together with him, it does make it part of his business. If he had any plan on harming her, he'll have to go through him first. Still, the ranger kept his nerve. Maybe he was completely misjudging the Alpha completely, after he is trying to enforce the rules and laws of his people. Maybe he is fairer than how his attitude preceeds to show, especially since he's willing to cut Ana's sentence if she could find their lost packmate.
"I'm sorry, Harrier," apoglized Travis, "It is unfair of me to misjudge you. I understand that you have a pack to run and you are looking out for your people. Analisia is my comrade and thus I am quick to defend her. I hope you understand."

Kahjit wasn't entirely sure if Harrier's deal for Ana was a good one or a hopeless one. They had no real lead as to where Yeszlin was in the entire country... But at least Ana might have a fresh take on it. Maybe someone who'd traveled the country would have a better sense of where to go with things. But it was till a terribly broad search. He touched her shoulder again, smiling kindly, "I hope you have better luck then I've had."

Analisia smiled softly with relief when given an opportunity to come back to the pack. Then Travis spoke and her smile grew again. She nodded slightly. Then looked at Kahjit. Touching a hand to his. "I have roamed the country side, while not nearly all of it, I know my way around enough to search out the major cities. If the werecats didnt take her to Feryn, they may have taken her to a large city to try and hide her scent. It is something logical after all." She nods and starts to think quickly, then looks back over at Harrier. "Thank you so much for that. Even if it takes me beyond my time in exile, I will find her. I know how hard it is to be away from the pack, and to be in the hands of another... an enemy. Even I couldn't imagine it." Analisia sighed and nodded. "I will do all I can for Yeszlin." Analisia knew where she wanted to start her search. And maybe grab another friend who might help her look for Yeszlin, having a few friendly noses would be better.

Harrier dipped his head to Travis. "I understand." Partly. Mostly he chalked it up to human strangeness. His eyes flickered to Analisia. "I trust that you will do your best to locate Yeszlin. I... look forward to your return." His eyes then moved to Kahjit. "Would you escort them to the border? Then after that we'll have to discuss what we're doing about the humans."
