Brenthor nodded slowly. "Excellent. I will make sure to arrive there then." He offered him a smile. "In the meantime I'll get back to Cados to get troop positions and the like. If I may have my leave?" His hand tightened around the bartender's arm as he waited for permission to leave.

"You can leave, Mr. Ambassador," Valmar replied, "Though, I do suggest you start wearing colloge. Those filthy furballs will be able to track you. You may also want to work on some makeup so it'll brighten up your skin. Just some precautions." The general figured he should write beginner guide's book on how to live like a vampire.

Brenthor nodded. "Excellent." He offered him a slight bow before he turned to go, dragging the terrified bartender with him. So this was his fate, was it? To be a blood thirsty beast until judgment day... He ducked behind the building, deciding to wait until Valmar was completely out of Riyer before making another move. He didn't trust the vampire. He'd likely stick a blade in his back the moment he thought his use was done...

After watching Brenthor walk outside the door, Valmar followed lead and went back to his army. He wondered about words that were exchanged in that meeting and his new ally. Was the general really willing to backstab Seriah? What are the protental problems of having Brenthor on the staff? While Valmar was certain there was plenty of benefits that happened tonight, he wondered how long they'll last before they'll bite him in the ass. Hopefully, everything resolves itself one way or another.

Brenthor waited until Valmar was long gone before he shoved the bartender away from him, hissing at him. "You're going to go to the werewolves. Tell them that the vampires march on Cados. Do it, or I will find you and finish what I started. Understand?"
The man squeaked before he nodded and ran off. Of course, Brenthor would have no idea if he did as was told. No matter... He was going to twist this situation into his own favor no matter what. The world was full of fools.
No vampire could command Alerick Brenthor! No human could command Alerick Brenthor! Yes, there was only one man who could command Alerick Brenthor!
Himself.
