Draven leaned in much closer this time, his eyes half-closed as he looked at Ashemir. "Much more than kissing," he said, quietly, smiling in a rather playful manner under the circumstances. "If you can promise me something much more, I'll let you go. And you can repay your debt later. But don't expect I'll forget or that you'll escape me for long. I'll find you." He pulled away and glanced back over his shoulder before watching Ashemir, waiting for the reaction. He was assuming the reaction he was going to get was going to be a bad one. Ashemir didn't seem the sort to mess around with someone that had caught him, let alone touched his precious hair. "And you know what I want," he added. "If you don't, you're pretty damn stupid."

Ashemir watched Draven, his stomach turning upside-down while his hands slowly closed into fists. Oh, he knew what Draven wanted. He had just hoped that Draven would take it down a couple of notches. But it wasn't as though Ashemir could convince him to accept a whole night of nothing. The blonde closed his eyes briefly, considering the ultimatum carefully and considering the implications of living with himself afterward. Releasing a sigh, he opened his eyes. "I'll take my chances with Valmar," he said sharply.

Draven chuckled, leaned down and did something completely out of character, as far as Ashemir had seen. He kissed the other vampire's forehead. And in the second after, he was up and on his feet, his back to Ashemir. He brushed off his pants and looked in the direction Valmar would be coming. He really didn't care what happened. Let Ashemir go or stay. He shrugged his shoulders and rolled his neck, cracking it. Then he turned half way and watched Ashemir. "No debt needed," he stated, bluntly. "See you around." Then he walked off to find his cloak and weaponry, certain he was going to be in huge trouble with Valmar for calling him and then showing up empty handed.

Ashemir might have wished that he could pass through earth, until he felt the gentle press on his forehead. His expression softened in surprise as he took a moment to realize that he wasn't being held down anymore. He sat up carefully, as though distrusting the action. Valmar was in sight, wasn't he? But it didn't seem so. No debt... but why, then?
Well, he could form some theories, but he'd think harder on it later. Without a word, Ashemir picked himself up and stole away back to the cave entrance. He bundled up his clothing and chains, his keyring, and picked up his lantern in his other hand before he rushed down the dark passage. He'd have to thank Draven later..

It seemed stranged that Draven was taking this long to get Ashemir. He was starting to have second thoughts about this decision. He thought he was hiring the best, someone who can get the job done at a quick pace. But no, he's doing lord knows what. The general sighed and muttered to himself, "Why must I do all the work?"
He walked into the woodline, striding angerly through the brush. Upon his walking, he could hear Draven's distangtive coat of blades chingling near by. Soon enough, he could see the mercenary, however, he didn't that good-for-nothing blonde.
"Where is he?" furiously demanded Valmar.

Draven looked at Valmar as he slipped his things on, pulling the cloak around him to conceal his weapons like before. He shrugged his shoulders and touched his still tender face again. It hurt but at least it was ebbing. "He got away from me and back into the mountain before I could react," he stated, covering his lie as if it were honest fact. And he wasn't going to say any more on the matter. He rolled his shoulders and neck, loosening tight muscles from the run and everything. Just wonderful. Oh well. If he got himself in trouble, that was his problem. Ashemir hadn't done anything to deserve being punished as horribly as he imagined Valmar would have. He crossed his arms and tapped a foot ont he ground. "So now what?" he asked.

On the top of Valmar's mind, he was furious. He ordered this newly hired soldier to capture a person, and he failed. Not only does he feel betrayed, but he also feels like he's being ripped off. He's paying him a fair salary with the benefits of not being an uniformed soldier, and he couldn't complete a simple task that one of his privates could of done. Maybe, he's placing too much expectation in Draven. Maybe, he shouldn't have thought of him as a dog and have him fetch Ashemir for him. Though, a dog would be more faithful and useful than this merc.
The general did much to restrain his anger. Afterall, this was simply a slip up, hopefully. He didn't really have much to say to Draven. He wanted him to leave before his anger builds up to the point where he strangling every single breath away from him.
"I don't have much to say, other than I'm sort of disappointed in you. Though don't worry, I'll have a talk with Ashemir. He can run and hide all he wants, but I will get him."
Oh, and he will get Ashemir. He didn't have any intentions in harming the beautiful man, but now after humiliating him, the general was going to be a bit more forceful.
"As for you, you're dismissed. Though, don't think I'll let you off this easy. I'm going to deduct your pay and give you this fair warning. If you disappoint me one more time, I'll take everything from you. If don't have anything, then I'll take your life. I'm giving you an ample opportunity here. If you fuck with me, well, I'm going to fuck harder."

Draven shrugged. He didn't much care what was going on in Valmar's head at the moment. At his dismissal, he turned away without a word and disappeared into the scenery, slipping into the mountain entrance and winding his way around inside until he was back out at the bottom. And now it was time to wait. He moved away and decided on a place in the trees, watching the mountain quietly.
