The ranger was starting to feel whoosy. After the 4th or 5th glass, the effects of the alcohol were strongly effecting Travis. He knew he wasn't himself anymore, but he didn't care. He was with the most wonderful woman he had ever set eyes on. The woodsman wrapped his arm around Chey's shoulders. "One of these days, we'll go on an adventure, just you and I. We'll travel the world; hike through the thickest forests, explore hidden caverns, climb the highest of peaks, sail the roughest of seas. We'll witness the great glory of the earth as we travel every itch of the globe."

Chey clapped her hands together. "Oh, I'd love that! Going 'nywhere we wanted, no rules, 'o restriction'. An' no Malco'!" The young chief felt a rush go through her as Travis put her arm around her shoulders, and knew she was starting to lose herself. She knew this was a foolish decision...a terrible idea. A possibly condemning act.
But it felt so goooood...
Glug, glug, woohoo.

Travis wasn't sure if it was right snuggle with the woman. He has only met her for a few hours and he was already engaging in skin contact with her. If he was sober, wouldn't dare be this close to a woman unless he grew to love her overtime. However, the drunken effects have sped up the process to a fraction. He also enjoyed being Chey; it seemed like she was his soulmate this whole time. Travis cuddled head on top her shoulder and said, "I think you are the most prettiest pretty woman I've ever seen in my entire life."

And the giggling resumed again. "Aww, t'ank you! You're 'ather h'ndsome, as well!" She slipped her own arm around him, turned her head and kissed the top of his own, totally unaware of how she was continuing to get closer and closer to this man. The effects of the alcohol were truly taking hold...
She suddenly tossed her cloak aside, slung her legs around Travis and effectively straddled him, her arms around his neck. She was resting on his lap, sitting on his thighs. She leaned in so that her forehead touched his and smiled. "Where 'ave you been 'll my life, Travi'?" She placed a kiss on his forehead and let her hands run down his back.
( We're REALLY taking a turn for the worse....XD )

His insides felt warm and fuzy as the woman got on his lap and started to kiss his forehead. "I'm going way too fast, this isn't right. Yet, his emotions blocked his logic. He loved this woman who only met in a few hours. He hasn't have this much fun for a long time. All these years chasing down fiends, devoiding himself from humanity, for once he would love to hid away from that and he had found his key. He faced Chey and said, "I've been floating around, searching for the perfect heart, and I think I found it." He then processed to kiss her on the lips.
(Lord, this is getting bad...but at least Hurhunt is going to have a blast with this)

Chey moaned into his mouth and ran her hand back up his back, tangling her fingers in his hair. His lips felt so wonderful meshed against hers...this is a feeling she had never experienced before...
And that's when it hit her. It was like a train slamming into her body.
"Wait!" She practically fell off of him, banging her head on the table as she slid. Landing on her rear, she blinked a few times before looking back up at Travis.
Her eyes went wide with realization.
"I...I....I gotta go." No matter how intoxicated she was, she was determined to get the hell out of there. It was like that one kiss had shocked some sense into her...if only a little.
She scooped up her cloak and started to put it on, her hands fumbling with the clasp. She was muttering furiously to herself, ignoring Travis all the while.

Travis was confused, and the fact that he was drunk also didn't help. Here, there was this woman acting lovey-dubby towards him and now she panicking towards him as it seemed she was going to do something wrong. Ok, maybe premartial drunken sex is wrong, but she didn't seem to mind it. Though, Travis didn't mean to hurt her in a way.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to go that far. Oh God, why did I have to get drunk? I'm no better than those drunks." He contiuned to pled until he spotted the bloodstain on Chey's cloak. Suddenly a flash of events sped through the ranger's mind as they seemed to linked together. Suddenly, his logic took a hold of him as it seemed he figured out who Chey was.
"Chey? Are you even human?"

Chey's head snapped up, her eyes finally meeting Travis'. They were no longer wide with surprise...they were wide with fear.
"W...what?" She faltered, releasing the clasp. The cloak fell gracelessly to the floor, forgotten. "What did you say...?" How had he figured it out? She had said nothing to hint that she was anything but a normal human...what could he have noticed?

Travis collected his words, trying to think what to say. While it seemed such an obscured thing to say, the ranger seemed to peel away the woman's secert.
"Well, I figured you might not be human, but a werecreature...quite possibly a werecat. You're love for nature, you're suspiousions, using the word spirits over God, you're cut on the hand...just a matter of connecting the dots."
Maybe he had a bit too much to drink, but his insticts told him otherwise. Either way, Travis felt even more embrassed. He was courting a werecat, a noble creature which he admired. How does he end up in these situations?

Chey blinked a few times. So her earlier suspisicons were correct...there was a lot more to this man than what was on the outside. The young chief sighed and looked around, just to see if anyone was listening, before speaking.
"Yes...I am." She said softly, biting her lip. "Your guess is right on the dot." She hated revealing her nature to any human, let alone someone she had just drunkenly kissed.

Travis felt stupid and ashamed. He didn't mean to tempt a werecat or have her reveal her nature. But, he did it anyways and there was no amount of "I'm sorry"s was ever going to fix that. He didn't fully understand the customs of the werecats, but he knew he might of ruin her repution among her race. Can werecats court outside their species? Doubt it.
"Look, I'm gravely sorry for what I did and what I was about to do. It's just...I'm just a stupid man." He gave sigh and continued. "Look, you're secret is safe with me. Hell, we don't have to mention what happened here. Is that alright?"
He reaffrimed his statement with a smile.

Chey squirmed under his gaze. "I find it hard to trust any human...there are so many twisted people in this world. But I do accept your apology...and give my own." She bit her lip. "We both made bad decisions here today. Let's just move on, OK?"
She bent down and picked up her cloak, which she found much easier to slip on than before. "I...I'll just see you around." She then left the bar without another word.
I told you so.
Chey scowled and let the tavern door slam behind her.
Oh, shut up.
She was going to have a long, long, long soak in Yina after this.

The ranger replied with a nod, then watched Chey walked out the door. He thought to himself that he might not see her again, but he hope he didn't. He knew her nature might not accept him as a friend, but somewhere out of this drunken mess there something more to her, and she might of found something deep within him. For a long time, the loner has never be so connected to person. The woodsman pondered upon a bit before getting up and heading off to the door.
From one tavern to another, he was going to have to deal with Malcolm...though, he'll have talk a with him.
