Chey sighed heavily. "Once again, I hate bribery. I also would hope my people would simply care enough to help out. But, alas, we have always been solitary creatures..." She tucked a stray stand of hair behind her ear, feeling the gems that were woven into it between her fingers. "As a last resort. Yes." She paused, taking a deep breath and exhaling, as if trying to calm herself so that working all of these facts out would be easier. "Gold is a brilliant choice, though. Good thinking, Ambassador."

She smiled quietly, pleased with the praise. "Yes, bribery is unfortunate. I pray that our fellows will see the political need to come along without much more persuasion."
Aria paused, watching the fire at Bastest's feet lick at the air. "I can set out for Issilt at once, then. Unless you would have me go elsewhere, of course."

"Issilt is fine; a good place to start, actually. I'll take care of Cados, and the borders of Naulus. If you could also handle Riyer, or send someone else to cover it, that would be greatly appreciated. I do not think it would be smart to search Tiaelde, though, just yet...we shall save that for last, if at all. I don't want to alert the vampires of our plans..." The young chief mulled over the details of Banez's plan in her head for a moment before focusing back on Aria. "I'll need the other available officials here in Bastest as soon as possible...Kats'n and Dynas. If they can be found, that is." Ulquir had not been seen in the longest time, and she had not spoken with Tadala in at least two weeks...Chey sighed and wondered why she had appointed them in the first place.
( Not meant to offend the writers behind Ulquir and Tadala. Just Chey's thoughts. ;P )

Again, Aria nodded. "I will do my best to track both of them down, as well. They should be on board."
Suddenly feeling weary with all the work ahead of them, Aria felt her shoulders slump slightly. "I will head out tomorrow, then. If I run into any further problems, I will send you a parcel." Pigeons and hawks had been used by Humans to deliver messages that could not be relayed in person. Although Aria liked to travel, this method had admittedly come in handy.
"Anything else, Chief Kitchi?" she asked politely. It was getting late, and she had a long ordeal awaiting.
/Sorry to cut it off, I can't think of where else this will go tho XD/

( 'Tis fine. Was running out of ideas, as well. XD )
Chey shifted her weight to her left foot, feeling herself tire, as well. "No, that is all. Thank you for your corporation, Ambassador." The hour was getting rather late, and the fire dying down. Bastest was no longer bathed in light; only giving off half of the glow that it had shown earlier. "I shall hear from you within the week, then?"
( Sorry for the short reply; in class....DX )
