Ashemir continued waiting for an answer as they walked, supposing that it was good that Draven was considering the question. The answer, the blonde had to admit, was at least a little interesting. "Your brother? ...One of us, I take it?" The other vampire now sounded irritated, but more of the irritation that was holding back a full-blown animosity. Now that was more interesting to Ashemir. "He deserves it?" he repeated, hoping to encourage elaboration.

Draven nodded his head, somewhat curtly, and tried to focus on where he was going. Again, he'd nearly run into someone while looking at Ashemir. He had to consider what telling the other vampire might do. His brother might taken an interest in someone who knew about him and that could be dangerous. But then Ashemir seemed to be strong enough to fend for himself, as woman-ish as he looked. On the other hand, his brother was stronger than even him, so could Ashemir stand up to that? He wouldn't judge the man; he didn't know his fighting style or his skill. "He deserves it," Draven confirmed. "After what he has done, all of the torture he has put me through over these years, I will have my revenge." He spoke with such force and raw emotion that it was amazing he didn't hit something or someone was he walked. His body was shaking, slightly, again, rage strong in his mind.

Ashemir's brows furrowed slightly when Draven almost ran into yet another person. Considering that the other vampire wasn't in a stable state to begin with, and on top of that, needed to feed, Ashemir pinpointed a nearby bench and took hold of Draven's cloak, leading him to the bench. The blonde gestured to the bench.
Now revenge was more of his language, although Ashemir couldn't quite relate to prolonged torture; he had made sure that anyone that wronged him was aptly punished. "And he's /in/ the Castle, you said? He works there?"

Draven allowed himself to be led to the bench and he dropped onto it with enough force that he heard the wood creak beneath him. Anger glittered in his eyes and he had to close them to hide the fact that he was so upset. With a slight frown, he looked back at Ashemir when he had fought back his anger enough that it wouldn't show. At least, it wouldn't show enough. He pulled his cloak around him to hide the glinting metal he carried as he crossed his arms. His eyes burned a dimmer color than their usual bright bronze. "I have no idea where the bastard is," he said, sounding frustrated with himself at the fact. "But that is the last place I saw him and I am hoping I will get the chance to catch him there again. This time, I won't let him escape. This time..." He couldn't even finish what he was going to say, his voice trailing off. He turned away from Ashemir yet again, glaring into space, imagining the things he would do. "My brother will learn that I am not one to be fucked around with," he muttered, more to himself than to Ashemir.
OoC: I'm assuming the language is fine. *nods*

Ashemir took a seat next to Draven on the bench, glancing up at the people as some of the passerbys looked over to see what the problem was. Couldn't they see that it was none of their damn business? The blonde was leaning in with interest, until Draven turned away. Ugh... Ashemir looked away briefly as well, before he leaned in closer to Draven. Not close enough to encroach on his space after their little game from before, but close enough to speak lowly near the other's ear, "Think about it this way: if you make friends in the mountains, the more support you have, and the more ears and eyes you have on your brother."

Now that was something he hadn't considered. Draven glanced over at Ashemir as he explained coming to the meeting could be a way to gain allies, eyes and ears to watch and listen for his brother. He looked thoughtful, staring at Ashemir, right through him actually, as he dwelled on the idea. That decided it then. He would just have to deal with others of his kind, with the large group he knew would be there, for the sake of finding his brother. "That is a useful idea," he said, nodding, regaining his view of Ashemir again. "Glad you brought it up because I would never have thought of it. Gives me much more incentive to go." He smiled that mischeivous smile he had when he was amused and tilted his head. "Mind backing up a bit?" he asked, his tone joking. "You're in my personal space. I mean, we are in public. No need to give people assumptions." He was starting that game again, Ashemir's game. Maybe another round would make his mood a bit lighter. He chuckled, leaning back against the bench, resting his arms on its back. He tilted his head up toward the sky, though he kept Ashemir in the corner of his bronze eye as he did. He still smiled.

Ashemir gave a wicked smirk in return, for both halves of what Draven had to say. One more ensured body at the meeting was enough of a personal victory for him. If might also ensure that he play nice with everyone; after all, to gain allies, one must be an ally to others. And on the other note, he was imagining Draven's reaction if the blonde should let his tongue glide over the shell of his ear.
But playing again with Draven might be playing with fire, so Ashemir leaned away, smirk melting away. "Don't be so paranoid; at a profile view, I must be indistinguishable," he gave another dismissive wave, chains rattling.

Draven chuckled, leaning forward, his hands resting on his knees. He was still watching Ashemir but he decided saying any more might end up with something bad happening. He smirked, a dark little look spreading onto his features. Interesting that Ashemir had gotten him far enough to agree to come to this meeting wholeheartedly. With a shrug, he pulled his gaze away, looking around. The streets were beginning to empty slowly. The sun was sinking. It had been nearing late afternoon when he'd left the tavern with this blond man. Soon he would be able to feed himself and rest for the night. With a sigh, he closed his eyes, lowering his head slightly as he did. He really hated the idea of being alone for the night but it was always better than being exposed by whoever he was with. "Not paranoid," was all he said as he stood up and looked back the direction they'd come. He turned his burning gaze on Ashemir again. "I'm going back to the tavern," he said, quietly. "I don't feel like hunting right now. Coming with me or shall I abandon you in this town you don't know?"

Ashemir eyed Draven's smirk knowingly, keeping perfectly to himself and giving the other vampire as little excuse to initiate another round as possible. What? Him, crude? Preposterous! Besides, it wasn't very fun if the other participant didn't find it torturous to some degree.
The blonde looked up when Draven stood. Leaving so soon? Apparently... But when Draven dealt his question, Ashemir's brows narrowed. "I think I'll be able to find my own way, thank you."

Draven shrugged, turning away. Oh well. His fun was officially finished. So much for having company on the walk back. He had only been teasing but aparently Ashemir was fed up with his jokes. "I'll be at the tavern we met in if you decide to find me again," he said, his voice light, though also somewhat flat. "Until next time I suppose." He decided it was better not to prolong this parting experience. He started walking, his arms crossed over his chest as he moved away, boots thumping on the ground. He had enough to think about anyway, he guessed. This meeting was in a few days, or so Ashemir had hinted. He would need to get plenty of rest in the next couple days to make the trek to Tiaelde. He hadn't been there in so long... With a heavy sigh, he walked through the winding streets, feeling much more comfortable as the people moved off the streets and into their homes for the nights. The tavern was ahead and the sun gone, leaving everything drenched in twilight shadows. He halted, looking up at the sky, thinking quietly, a small smile on his lips again. "Oh well," he muttered and stepped up to the door, entering and sitting where he had before.

Teasing or not, Ashemir felt that they both needed personal space. And he set up his standards so that he would not get caught together with someone in a tavern room, in the evening no less. The day was already dripping with innuendo as it was, and there weren't even any beds in sight.
"I'll see you outside of Tiaelde, then," he said, voice returning to its usual blankness. When Draven left around the corner, the blonde stood up and brushed off the folds of his clothes. He may as well get a head start.... Maybe there would be some straggling traveler with his name on it...
